Yes, the submissions are anonymous, that way the voters will be voting on regards of the work and talent put into the entries, and not on the person submitting noone knows which entry is who's :D

1.you can upload your image here : http://tinypic.com/,http://imageshack.us/, and on photobucket, after you upload it there , copy the url and send it to Transparent by a private message.

2,Photoshop is the most common program for coloring, there is also corel,gimp,paint tool sai etc .

3.You can do whatever you want with your image as long you dont add your name on it .

I must say this competition has really turned around. Just look at the number of visits on the previous Manga comp threads, they're averagely visited around 500 times while the last two are now up in almost 6000 visits. The number of participants has also increased a great deal :D

The manga coloring competition is a digital coloring competition. Which means that you submit by choosing a part of a manga page, or a black and white picture of a manga character from any anime/manga (naruto, bleach, fairy tale, hellsing, etc..)

And color it by either using photoshop, gimp, illustator, painshop pro, or any other painting program.

(I recommend you do not use paint as u won't have any chance of getting a good result, and it is not a program meant to color images)

I would recommend you watch some youtube videoes on how to color mangas they can be to great help.

The easiest way to start learning how to color manga is by getting a clean lineart like this for example.

Akkkk -- thanks for this post: somehow I missed that this was for digital coloring. I was (and still am) ready to kill my dumbo mouse Friday night. I have a tablet I never hooked up because it wasn't working with the computer I had at that time and now, since I have Vista, doubt that Vista will run it since it's so fussy. O.O :confused:
