Awesome chapter Kisame died like a real man a real shinobi and he set things up so that if he dies even then the info he collected will reach to Madara totally awesome he was one of the strongest character in the manga. RIP Hoshikagi Kisame. About Konan the chances are she will most probably die but if she knew that Madara would come after her then she should have taken care of Nagato's body if she didn't it would be really stupid.

Kisaaaaameee!! You were one of the strongest characters in the whole Naruto franchise. R.I.P Both Itachi and him were the greatest partners. It's good to know that none of the good guys killed him, and that his own summonings did. Oh, and the booby trap made my day! I wanted the scroll to get out! Now I hope the shark makes it to Madara alive, I mean God knows what lives in those waters, *cough*GiantSquid*cough* As for Konan and Madara, I did see that coming. Now I hope Madara shows some Ninjutsu! Overall, 5/5 chapter!

I thought Madara knew where Nagato's body was , since Kabuto showed him as one of his "ressurected pawns" ( itachi, deidara, sasori, nagato). I take it that those aren't their real bodies then?

3) since only konan seems to know where nagato's body is it seems that for edo tensin to work you don't need to have the actual body or acces to it. since kabuto summond nagato, but he also could not know where the actual body is.

This was a very good chapter,it's been awhile too. Kisame R.I.P., you were an awesome shinobi. Loved the flashback with itachi, and how it tied into how he decided to take his own life, and especially how he still got the best of them in the end. I don't know if he's dead or not but it's a good way for him to go like the others bad guys before him, Zabuza, Haku, Itachi, Sasori, just to name a few.

Anyway... 4/5 I'm not quite satisfied but I did enjoy the set up for the next battle... I dunno if I can read it tho... I don't want to see Konan get beaten... I doubt Madara will kill her tho' he needs info! xD And I can't see anyone coming to her rescue! ToT

I think Kisame didn't die because there are reasons
1. when kisame summoned his shark & let his shark to eat him then why didnt the shark disapear after he died?
2.after guy opened the scroll the were stuck in the barrier and the summoned shark took the scroll and got away and still he didnt disapear.

2: Summonings doesn`t have to die because the user does. Look at all the frogs and Sarutobi`s summoning Enma.

And also it was already set up to be like that..

A wonderful chapter by Kishimoto. Kisame died protecting his comrades, and the valuable information that their enemies want, and I think it was honorable on his part, a worthy death. And also in the chapter, Konan getting ready to battle Madara; while her chances of winning are very slim, she might have returned with some new powers after Nagato died. She's going to be an important character in the future, in my opinion.

Konan vs Madara, now that isn't going to be much of a challenge, unless Konan has attained some new power, which I highly doubt. After getting the infromation out of her, he's going to kill her. The three orphans of the Rain will once again be reunited! xD

You know what would be crazy, and unlikely but imagine if it happened. Jiraiya shows up out of nowhere and saves Konan. When Nagato used Rinne Tensei (I think that was the name) to ressurect all of those killed by Pain, Jiraiya was brought back. Though, I like it better when he's dead because the good guys need to die sometimes.

I'm assuming that Madara is retrieving the Rinnegan to implant them in the body of Edo Tensei Nagato, that way he could use the technique that Madara wanted the real Nagato to use before he joined the good side and died.

There is a slight possibility that Naruto might get the Rinnegan but Konan vs Madara fight wouldn't be so great actually it won't of much competition we know that Madara will win. Kishi can add a little surprise by showing us that Konan destroyed Nagato's body or something like that which will unable Madara to take the Rinnegan but besides that I don't think much will happen.

great chapter, and some questions answerd,
1) madara never had a chanse yet to get the rinegan, konan has been guarding, hiding, protecting it, but for something madara realy wants to have it, perhaps to be able to read the full text on that tablet underneath the uchiha shrine
2) kisame died in the most honorable way a shinobi could die, protecting his comrads by not letting any information on them leak out, and completing his mission of gathering intel on the kage's and great countrys, and since there is no trace of his body I don't see him being brought back to life, perhaps only by edo tensin.
3) since only konan seems to know where nagato's body is it seems that for edo tensin to work you don't need to have the actual body or acces to it. since kabuto summond nagato, but he also could not know where the actual body is.

and perhaps now we will see what konan and madara are realy made off, but I think we are only going to see the outcome of the fight

Am I missing something here? I thought it was pretty clearly stated that Kabuto had Nagato's body in the first page of Chapter 490...

But I keep seeing in the posts references to Konan hiding it. How can this be?

Ah, never mind ... I just read on the wiki how Summoning: Impure World Resurrection works ... that's not Nagato's body that Kabuto has ... it's a clone ... I get it now
