Kisame totally schooled some of the best Leaf Ninja and Cloud Ninja in the end. He breaks out of the stocks Yamato put him in, does water prison jutsu on himself and summons sharks to kill him, but it's crazier than even that.
Kisame knowing that the Leaf and Cloud Ninja would check out the information he placed in the scroll, booby trapped it with Water Prison Jutsu with sharks in each of them and had one more shark carry the information away to the Akatsuki.
Remarkable...Kisame didn't expect to make it off the island so he booby trapped the scroll in advance.

He was a great and intelligent shinobi respect to kisame he did what he could to help madara(mthfokr who just uses everyone) and he sacrificed himself...Kisame has gained respect

I don't think no one like him would stay loyal to akatsuki. Naruto was quite moved by his decision Maito guy said the right thing. I won't suprise when Naruto says this to someone else. Another lesson learnt.
R.I.P kisame. He was the right partner for itachi. Did you see Itachi activate his mangekyou against kisame but, didn't do nothing.
