He was inside his mother for 9-10 months and she was the host of the kyuubi. That was probably a side effect of her being a jinchuriki. Hashirama and Mito's child probably had the same thing. Also how Naruto is the perfect jinchuriki because he always shared the kyuubi's chakra within him. That's why it doesn't burn until the 4th tail.

I was wondering about that too. I can't tell whether they're marks, whiskers or dimples.

Maybe its just one unique characteristic being a jinchuriki for the kyubi. Gaara has a unique feature as well - his raccoon eyes. As for the others, i haven't really noticed.

Now I'm confused because Kushina didn't seem to have any unique markings.. :confused:

I think its because of the Fox but his mom didnt have them because she wasnt inside of the previous host like naruto was since the begining

I read something from kishi stating that he has the entire plot structured out... You know... like the basic outline... Hence some weeks he takes time out to fill in gaps and research his own story for consistency...

yeah i just re looked at the anime pain arc. and when he's talking to shikaku and ino's dad i noticed them and i tought what could the reason be that he has those
