Can rinnegan replace Sharingan

hey guys
if madara transplant the rinnegan will this last works as the sharingan i mean will madara be able to use his time/space jutsu and izanaghi .
and i think madara still seeking parts of the rikudo sennin othrwise he could simply kill naruto there still something with naruto madara is looking for .
what do you think ?

I think it'l lwork simulair as with gaining EMS.
