[Discussion] edo tensei

today I was thinking about edo tensei, and as we all know its the technique used by orochimaru and kabuto that allows them to implant the soul of a dead shinobi into the body of a human sacrafice. What I'm not sure of, is how they acquire the soul, there has to be some sort of process, otherwise theuser could simply ressurect anyone they wanted with no boundries what so ever. And if that was thecase, madara wouldn't have any reason tobe surprised about the 6th coffin.

If anyone knows the process, or has a theory, please share your ideas.

That makes sense, maybe sample of dna or something. However I'm not sure howkabuto could gotten nagatos dna or even deidaras assuming that his self destruction would tear him apart on a molecular level.
