Percy Jackson Series: by Rick Riordan
Book 1: Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief
Book 2: The Sea of Monsters
      Book 3: The Titan's Curse
Book 4: The Battle of the Labyrinth
      Book 5: The Last Olympian

Commentary: Awesome series! It will get you sucked in right away. After reading the first book, you can't wait till you get your hands on the second!

The Red Pyramid: by Rick Riordan

Commentary: This book is awesome! I'm just in the middle of it, and it's so interesting! I just bought the book today(9/18/2010) from Borders. I can't wait to read it!

The Lost Hero: by Rick Riordan

Commentary: This book hasn't come out yet. Its coming out on October 12th. I can't wait to read it! You can read the first two chapters of the book at CampHalfBlood.com. It'll ask for a password, and the password is: "newhero". Without the quotes, mind you. Rick Riordan gave out the password some time ago. You can watch Rick Riordan's commentary-like video on the book here: Disney Books: Heroes of Olympus Videos. The official series site is here: Disney Books: Heroes of Olympus.

      Ranger's Apprentice: by John Flanagan
Book 1: The Ruins of Gorlan
      Book 2: The Burning Bridge
      Book 3: The Icebound Lake
Book 4: The Battle for Skandia
Book 5: Sorceror of the North
      Book 6: Siege of Macindaw
      Book 7: Erak's Ransom
      Book 8: Kings of Clonmel

Commentary: I love these books! I'm only on the 4th book, but its just like the Percy Jackson series: You just can't wait to get your hands on the next book. I totally recommend it!

      The Supernaturalist: by Eoin Colfer

Commentary: Its a really good book. It'll make you keep on turning the pages and make you think and ask questions. If you like Fantasy or Sci-Fi, you'll really enjoy this book.

      Alex Rider: by Anthony Horowitz
      Book 1: Stormbreaker
      Book 2: Point Blanc
      Book 3: Skeleton Key
      Book 4: Eagle Strike
      Book 5: Scorpia
      Book 6: Ark Angel
      Book 7: Snakehead

      Inheritance Cycle: by Christopher Paolini
      Book 1: Eragon
      Book 2: Eldest
      Book 3: Brisingr

Commentary: I personally LOVE this series. I can't wait for the fourth book to come out! The series is about young Eragon who finds a dragon egg. When it hatches, he's in for a huge adventure. You just have to read the series to have all the awesome action and fun!

Commentary: I really like this book. I read it when it first came out and it was EPICNESS! You gotta read it!

Al Capone Does My Shirts: by Gennifer Choldenko
Book 1: Al Capone Does My Shirts
Book 2: Al Capone Shines My Shoes

Commentary: I honestly don't know if there is another book to this. This book is pretty good. It can be kinda hard to understand at times, otherwise its okay. I think the sequel is Al Capone Shines My Shoes.

The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel: by Michael Scott
      Book 1: The Alchemyst
      Book 2: The Magician
      Book 3: The Sorceress
      Book 4: The Necromancer
      Book 5: The Warlock
      Book 6: The Enchantress

Commentary: I've read the Alchemyst and it was AWESOME! I've put the Magician on hold and can't wait to read it. I don't really know if The Warlock and The Enchantress are really sequels. I just know the other four are. These two I got off Wikipedia.

Lord of the Rings: by J. R. R. Tolkien

      The Fellowship of the Ring
      The Twin Towers
      The Return of the King

Re: Need a Good Book to Read? Come here.

FINALLY someone else who reads Ranger's Apprentice! And yeah, there are eight books in total, and counting I believe.

      Ruins of Gorlan
      Burning Bridge
      Icebound Lake
Battle for Skandia (I believe that at this point they have different names at a few different areas, that would explain why you called it The Oakleaf Bearers, as I believe that's one of the alternate titles)
      Sorceror of the North
      Siege of Macindaw
      Erak's Ransom
      Kings of Clonmel

I believe that he's still making more. And Percy Jackson and the Inheritance Cycle are crazy epic as well.

Thanks for telling me the names! Yeah, I only have the first book, and in that it says Oak Bearers. But I'll add the names too. Oh, and since you're ranked much higher than me, do you think I should keep my opinions on books, or remove them?

Those books sound great! Ever tried Lord of the Rings or Eragon? their both short series but they are really good.

      Lord of the Rings:

      The Fellowship of the Ring
      The Twin Towers
      The Return of the King

      Eragon:

      Eragon
      Eldest
      Brisingr

(Christopher Paolini said There will be another book after Brisingr even though I had heard it was the last one. I was like "WHAT!? I havent even gone though Eldest and i was so looking forward to the end and he's making ANOTHER ONE!?!?!?")

Well, thats it I guess. One day though I have to find Ranger's Apprentice. It sounds interesting. I love books!

I know right! A new book is coming out as a new series called The Lost Hero. Annabeth and Percy are in it. I'll add the site to read the 2-chapter preview.

      Nikki Sixx: Heroin Diary.

The story of Nikki Sixx, the base player of the band Mötley Crue (kick ass band btw) and his and the bands struggles with drugs, fame, women, band inside fights etc.

It's something like The Dirt, almost similar consept but about the band whole together.

The Heroin Diary is from Nikkis eyes and experiences. I recommend highly to those who understand and listens to glam-rock!

The stories are very funny and sometimes very scary. This one time, a Care Bear got stuck and almost didn't get out. That was scary and sad but they got him out and hugged him so it was nice.
I like their cloudcars and the funny stars that look like candy and I like candy

But I don't like Wizard No Heart He is scary and he has big brows just like my grandpa and he is scary too.

I have alot of Care Bears stuffed toys and they live in my bed. I always wear an Care Bears shirt. It makes me very happy and I get many hugs from my friends

I really suggest that everyone reads Care Bears and hugs alot of people.

What the heck? ? I know that everyone loves Care Bears, but that doesn't have to be announced, you know.

Eoin Colfer's Artemis Fowl is much better than the Supernaturalist.

Besides, there is also Terry Brooks' Shannara series.

You can't go wrong with Stephen King I'm working The Shining atm. Sure, I've seen the movie and Jack Nicholson kicks it but the book always is the better half.
Hard to read it sometimes though, I always imagine the movie while reading it. Can't really get that wild imagination to flow that easily. So if you haven't seen the movie, I highly recommend that you read the book first.

It's about about a writer with a wife and young son who accepts the job of off-season caretaker at an isolated hotel. And things get wicked there, hehe.

Same goes with Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. An masterpiece movie but even greater book.

The Wish List: by Eoin Colfer

Commentary: This book is a really good book. A girl dies and she gets sent back to the real world to help an old man. This is because her aura is not good, but not bad either. So, she tries to get Blue Aura to get to heaven while somebody from hell tries to stop her.

If we have an opinion but do
not voice it, are we really

I'll try any of these! Done with Percy Jackson, now reading the Lost Hero... I heard something about The son of Neptune being the follow up of the Lost Hero?
