[Theory] How did madara give rinnegan to nagato???

In my theory this is how Rinnegan born.
You need a child with Senju traits, as the SO6P's 2 kids right? as the other had the eyes, and they other is the rest. If you transplant a sharingan into a Senju, it will mutate, and become a Rinnegan. So, Senju's doesn't meant to have the "eyes" that's why it mutated, to be a Rinnegan, as basically now the user has the "eyes" to. I think Madara needed some kind of pair of sharingans to be awakenned by a Senju, and the result would be a Rinnegan.

i think that u can figure this out if ppl stop believing that the natural root of uzumakis is konoha cause is not, he's mom was taken from her village to konoha so she could have the 9 tailed beast... so she might be from the villages konoha protects. it also could be that the rinegan is a cursed eye just like madara refers to the sharingan and the activation of it's powers was to kill somebody just like nagato did when he was little defending his friend. but the question rises how does kakashi has a sharingan 2 level like magyako (idunno how to write it my apologies) and he didn't kill he's best friend... not directly atleast there is more to these eyes than we could asume i guess...

i dont think that the purpose to Madara wearing the mask was to conseal his identity from Nagato, since we oviously see him still wearing a mask even now after Nagato's death
sec...I dont think it was Madara's intentions to kill Nagato at least not quite yet.....he was actually surprised of Nagato's death when Zetzu told him about it

The third quest is a bit more complicated....and to be honest i do not have the aswer to it, but I dont believe that my theory really has anything to do with what you have mnetioned here.....I hope i was of help

Wow, this thread has a lot of posts... can a moderator sticky it? Anyway, we know that nagato had the rinnegan from a very early age...since his parents died at least. So we know that madara didn't just pop up one day and hand the eyes to nagato. And I'm guessing that Nagato's parents would notice if a creepy old man was gouging out their sons eyes and replacing them with different ones.... so my best bet is that madara came to nagato's parents, knowing that nagato would be able to use the power of the rinnegan because he was an uzumaki, and he told his parents that if he let him give nagato the eyes, then he would assure Nagato's safety throughout the war. Because they loved their son, they probably agreed.

Well, either that theory or Madara is nagato's father. Ooooh, secret lovers.... I mean, distant senju blood + uchiha blood = rinnegan. I think I'll stick with the first theory though.
