Naruto has to fight against the Rinnegan + Sharingan. Didnt Madara lose an eye using the Izanagi? Obviously one of the the strongest ninjas in the Naruto world has an extra set of eyes but he can only use the Izanagi in battle once. I dont see Naruto giving Madara the chance to get away

Madara not only has one extra eye but thousands of eyes in his basement..
Also Madara,with his new eyes, can now achieve the perfect izanagi without losing the eye loses its light.Correct me if i am wrong..

So Sasuke is using Itachi's eyes, which in fact they were shot and their light was about gone, why didnt he and Itachi just swapped eyes in the first place. From what i read , even if an eyes light has faded it can be restored in another user. So, if thats the case why didnt Madara which eyes with his brother Izuna instead of just taking them? Was Izuna dying or something? Or was it just something that Kish forgot to mention? Anyone!!??

I have been wondering about this myself ever since the manga chapter where Madara talks to Sasuke after his fight with Itachi came out. I guess we'll never know, though

Naruto Manga Chapter 512 Madaras Deception

Scene shows sasuke in a dark cave laying down with his eyes covered in bandages..... Madara and Zetsu appear

Madara: Sasuke how are you feeling feeling?
Sasuke slowly smirks as he slowly gets up
Sasuke: I can feel intense power flowing though my eyes, Its nothing I've ever felt before
Zetsu: (Black) I think its time for you to tell Sasuke about the full potential of his new eyes
(White) Yes he looks really anxious to try out Itachi's eyes
Sasuke: I think its time for my eyes to see the new light
Sasuke unwraps the bandages from his eyes
Zetsu: (White) Its only been a two weeks since the transplant this was a delicate procedure you mustn't rush Sasuke
(Black) Its completely fine his healing ability is on a rapid pace for some strange reason
Madara: thinks to himself - How can can his chakra be fully replenished after that intense fight with Danzo?
Madara: Your eyes will take on a new form and also new abilities..... Sasuke you will need practice..... a mentor if you will. I can show how to unlock the full potential of Itachi's eyes.... U can be as powerful as.... ?
Sasuke: hysterically laughs - These are now my eyes, and I know such thing as a mentor

Interesting thought. To me, it was always implied that it was a one way street with the eye transplant, meaning you can't swap like you mentioned. Since Madara took his brother's eyes, he kept his own abilities and gained his brothers; hence the new EMS Madara acquired, a combination of his old one and Izuna's. I think somehow the four eyes become two. If you look back at the fight between Sasuke and Itachi, you'll see the image of the being with 4 eyes:

The info on it is a bit sketchy though. Maybe you have to keep your original eyes in order to keep your original abilities. Ok, i see what you are saying. In those pics you see the creature with all four eyes in Madara's background, but when you see Itachi, the creature's face only has two eyes and the other two are missing because he doesnt has an EMS. Great info!

That's a great point. Do you have the Issue and page number where they show that?

i really do think naruto is gonna get the rennigan,but not until close to the end .i think naruto is gonna find a way to change sasuke back to the good side ,then they will both fight madara and sasuke will end up saving naruto's life but he will die for it and naruto is just gonna lose it completely and the rennigan will be born but it will look different as different as naruto's personality remember kishi said something about that naruto will have the coolest eyes in the manga . sasuke dying will be the strongest pain naruto will have ever felt because i don't think he cares about anybody as much as he cares for sasuke...sasuke is like a brother to him. that's what's gonna awaken the new rennegan....:P

i. Madara stated he 'acquired' A Senju part (1. or 2. or 3.) by means of his battle with Hashirama.
ii. In chapter 510, page 11, Madara states that Izanagi is the combination of one part vitality, the Physical Energy (3. above) which forms the basis of "yang" power...

B.
i. Madara Is an Uchiha and has An Uchiha part by virtue of the elder being the forerunner of all Uchiha (either 5. or 6.).
ii. In chapter 510, page 11, Madara states that Izanagi is the administration of imagination, the Spiritual Energy (6. above) which forms the basis of "yin" power....

C. And has now re-acquired the Eyes, the rinnegan (4. above), the 3rd in total of six paths of the Sage (parts). Chapter 510, page 17: "You are the third of the sixth paths."
As in the third part of my being complete of 6 total needed.

My theory is Madara is Madara only in his Spiritual Energy (6.) An energy of Spirit which drives his being and identifies itself as Uchiha Madara. His Body, I believe, is a shell. One which encapsulates an exact copy of Senju Hashirama's Physical Energy(3.) 'captured' by Zetsu upon touching him during the battle a VoTE.

Thus, as in chapter 510, page 12, Madara states that: "Two of the six paths are now one being!"

And now, the Rinnegan, the 3rd part of 6, which "were mine to begin with" chapter 511, page 17.

He lacks only these 3 "Steps towards becoming complete":
1. Sage's Body
2. His Life Force
5. His Powerful Chakras
And targets Naruto to fulfill one of these three (1. or 2.)
