Nice prediction/script for 512. But all of that will take awhile to get to and happen over quite a few chapters. But I like it.

Perhaps Madara, after reading the tome in the Uchiha hideout, the one which reveals more and more with a higher level of Sharingan, has found out the road to obtaining the Rinnegan. That is, first you awaken the MS, can read how to awaken the EMS. Once you have obtained the EMS, it is revealed on the slab how to awaken the Rinnegan.

So when Madara says to Kabuto these eyes where his to begin with in 511, he literally means they were HIS eyes to begin with.

Perhaps he gained a requirement from the 'body' of Hashirama and this was his ulterior motive for drawing Hashirama into the VotE battle. Always seeing the bigger picture, he sacrificed to obtain a greater goal. The mechanism by which he 'acquired' So6P requirement from Senju Hashirama is still a BIG mystery.

So is how he lost the ability of using his new Rinnegan eyes. Presumably another, not-so-successful battle or a failed attempt to release the 10 tailed beast BY HIMSELF. Or the result of the battle with Hashirama itself caused him to use the ultimate jutsu, Gedo Rinne which, while resurrecting himself, rendered the eyes unusuable in his then current body's state. Hence, he removed them, acquired another Sharingan, went on with his plan to reacquire them after using up a suitable host, Nagato, for his purposes. Regenerating his ability to use the Rinnegan again........ Somehow.

While he claims that nagato's rinnegan were his, I don't think an uchiha can be born with rinnegan. The uchiha were part of the leaf and I can't imagine a young madara hiding such powerful eyes even if they were his to begin with. He might have gotten them from one of his many enemies. But wouldn't nagato had known if he was (literally) given a new pair of eyes? Or his parents?

If he has 1 sharingan and 2 rinnegan.. or 2 sharingan.. that would be possible, but creepy. I loved this chapter nonetheless.

I have a similar idea - When Madara got Hashirama's powers he was probably able to unlock the Rinnegan, but due to some unknown reason (wounds from the fight/something else) he couldn't/shouldn't have used it for some time and he decided he should give them to Nagato and use him as a pawn, and as he gave him the rinnegan Nagato became his most powerful pawn.
As for his mask and the three tomoe which seem like eyeholes I think he implanted the 2 rinnegan and maybe the sharingan responsible for his time-space tech or a Izanagi sharingan. But we have yet to see if all 3 tomoe on the mask are eyeholes or only 1 or 2 are.
I loved the flashback and the symbolism in it was pure awesomeness, so I gave the chapter a 5.

I agree with most of you, its kinda boring. Madara's mask totally suck. How is he going to fight like that. I don't think he could even see his opponents.

At the last page, Madara said 'Its time to capture the Nine Tails'. I dont understand what he was thinking. imo He should have catch KB first and then Nine Tails.

I bet Sasuke's fans will be upset again. They were quite anticipated to see Sasuke's new EMS :D Kishi, how long are you going to upset Sasuke's fans? :D

wow i got played at the end. That whole flip it to the white side when your out, and red(black in the manga) when you in the hideout had me. Since i saw yahiko and nagato's flipped red/black i was like oh sh!t Konan played madara and actuallly hid them in their old hideout but she didnt. Pretty nice, they all reunited at the end just like they said they were.

Madara looks funny with that mask, but hey he one step closer, cant wait to see that fight with him and naruto, but didnt he say sasuke and naruto were meant/destined to fight?? So why would he go after naruto? I assume he said that but sasuke will tag along and do the fighting for him.

hi guys. I'm probably missing something so don't get angry on me: someone stated that madara implanted rinnegan over sharingan..how is that possible? I mean he has only 2 eye sockets...and I don't think that he walks around with his eyes in the pocket and uses them at times of need.

I think Madara is going to have a very hard time if he realy encounters Naruto... The Weapon he is carying better be something special, because if Naruto lands a hit or two on Madara he will be history ! ... of course this will not be easy to do because of Madara's Izanagi.

P.S. - To me the Rennigen won't give Madara any type of advantage over Naruto.

Not if Madara's eyes evolved from normal Sharingan to MS to EMS to Rinnegan. Not necessarily born with them. No need to hide them until he was already in hiding, i.e. pretending to be dead- or Mizukage.

And Nagato would not have noticed if Madara used Izanagi to 'Alter Reality' and insert them to regenerate them within the body of an Uzumaki (related to Senju and long life -- regenerative properties. He incubated his eyes in the young Uzumaki Nagato.

Good chapter, even tho some people hated it, I think the flashback was needed. Showing it helped us understand what konan was thinking before she died..Theres always going to be some sort of flash back when some one dies weve seen this a ton of times so we should all be use to it.

The confusing part is when madara states " I have no power" but yet he can use izangi? unless izangi doesn't require much chakara to begin with..N his mask is so lame lol, but im sure it has its purpose..

Madara is going after the kyuubi already after he just got the eyes.. meaning he used the rinnegan before so he doesn't need to learn how to use it..

this is going to be a good fight. match ups are:

1 Kyuubi naruto vs madara

2. Sasuke vs killer be rematch

3. Kabuto vs yamato rematch

maybe well get to see the raikage fight again but doubt it with only one arm.

OK madara reads tablets passed down on the eye side on the bloodline realizes he needed to be both senju n uchiha

fights harishima just to get it pretends to die but activated rinnegan n became 2nd so6p. his body not really for battle after hiroshima or still needs to get use to mixing the dna

decides to give it to nagato apparantly an uzumaki said at the last chapter about nagatos hair being white n not the tradesmark uzmaki hair

I think this is hinting naruto might get sasukes eyes or the rinnegan to fight who ever is the last boss n beome the 4th so6p but the truely good with no evil so6p that surpasses madaras power n nagatos makin it seem like madara just thought he had the so6p power

madara realised this thats why he had the clan massacred so he get replacement sharingan n no mixing dnas (kinda like the racism war we got here)

the sharingan bloodline will somehow be passed on maybe madara has a son or sasuke surviving. 100 years later the clan is rebuilt n shit starts over again

If he has more than 2 eye sockets, I'd rather not see him without the mask.:crazy:

But look at what danzo did to his arm. Madara could probably make one more eye socket on his forehead. I think he was left with only one sharingan after using izanagi, so that makes 3 eyes.

I think Kisame Is Still Alive. Its like Orochimaru, he lived on in Sasuke (after we were sure he was dead) and appeared right before Itachi, in the Sasuke vs Itachi fight. So like Orochiaru, i think Kisame is still living, he got his shark to eat him that doesn't mean he's dead.

As for Naruto, his best chance of Survival right now is staying with Killer Bee. Konoha is unsafe, as well as the island now, they should be safe if they return to Kumogakure. All the villages need to stay united. Rinnegan combined with Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, thats a hell of a lot of things Madara can learn to control.

But.... what is it that Kabuto has that is keeping Madara at bay ????
And the next time we see Sasuke... well just remember Kabuto is after him now.

I haven't written on here in a while

not the best of chapters. i gave it a 2. although i did like it when konan's paper covered up her card thing.

@ ScottSAS he's dead. Orochimaru was basically a parasite, he would take over other people's bodies so its' not hard to see that he might've survived in someone else's body if that person's mind was stronger than his, but Kisame was never like that. He couldn't just implant himself into someone else. It's lamentable, but he's dead.

So it appears that Madara is in fact Madara, but we still can't be entirely sure seeing as we've still not seen his uncovered face. I like the theory that the rinnegan are really just the pinnacle of sharingan. And that the combination of Senju and Uchiha genetics are how u obtain it. How though, did Madara take senju dna and combine it with his own?

Still many questions to be answered. I really wish Kishi would just make a 20-****ing page long chapter every now and then i mean Bleach this week was 22 i think and that's a fairly common occurence.

i think madara's old eyes from after getting his brothers ie EMS are what he implanted to nagato. makes sence, MS + senju body = rinnegan

also i really didnt likw this flashback, but the new mask was well il wait 2 weeks and see if it looks better in a battle

Well said man and I don't think Kabuto did the surgery Madara did it himself. I really don't get the point of Madara wearing a mask anymore the only logical reason is that he is hiding his eyes but Kabuto saw it easily though we don't know whether Kabuto saw through the mask or Madara told him about it and may be Madara combined the Rinnegan and the Sharingan who knows but if that happens it will be cool.
