Exactly. I don't understand how difficult it is for people to realize that Tobi is Madara, Madara is Tobi, and Madara is Madara. That's all there is to it.

Ugh. Look, we already know that Madara/Tobi uses Zetsu's powers to regenerate himself. We know that he has some of the first hokage's DNA in order to use Izanagi. Whatever Tobi/Madara is, it is not one thing.

It may well be Madara's mind or his soul, but there is no way it is just Madara, because we already know that.

It's funny how you said "Uchiha Madara is Uchiha Madara" and then you say "They would not talk this way about him being Madara if it was not him". I think you meant Uchiha Madara is Tobi, because we know Madara is Madara and it would be strange if someone said he isn't himself.

It's been (literally) spelled out that Tobi is Madara numerous times in the Manga. The problem lies in the mysteriousness of the character... Always wearing a mask even though we've seen what Madara looks like in the past. Sometimes he has long hair, sometimes short hair. When he fought Minato, he was drawn with a young body (no wrinkles on his arms). It's almost as though Kishimoto is purposely not revealing his face for some reason... The reason is what makes people second guess if he really is Madara. He's openly stated he's Uchiha Madara so there's no reason is wear a mask anymore.

I have my doubts mainly because of this conversation:

IMO the only way Tobi could get shaken up so much is if the last coffin contained the real Madara. Obviously, if Kabuto showed the real Madara to the Akatsuki members or anyone else, it would expose his deception.
