Hoping England wins but I doubt it.

So as long as America and Germany don't win I can still be content.

I'd have to say that Argentina will probably take this. Spain is unsure about their ability to play in Brazil's climate and Brazil itself has been having trouble lately <,<

    Maybe Portugal..

Group D - Uruguay, Costa Rica, England and Italy

Lol, looks like England won't be getting past the group stages.

Supported Spain since 2002 but they're so good now its just become boring. Still unsure of who I'm going to support, perhaps Germany.

    Thursday
Don't be so sure about England not progressing, there's no penalties in the group stage so they might make it pass the group stages xD

Yeah I'm kinda cheering for them too , watched a match of random squads of Japan and really liked their play , like no fouls at all , fair play .

Have you seen the Belgium squad, they have some of the best young players on the planet with some experienced players (Hazard,Lukaku,Benteke,Axel Witsel,Kompany,Dries Mertens) I can go on because they have so many talented players, I'm 100% sure they will make it through the group stages

I'm rooting for my home country of course: Belgium.

We're already glad we finally made it again to the finals, however with the quality we have now and the group we are in, making it to the 16th finals is a must, no excuses. We have got the 6th most expensive team present on the WC, so not being able to finish 1st or 2nd in our group would be the same as Spain, Germany or Brasil failing to qualify for the knock-out stages.

We aren't cocky enough though to proclaim ourselves as a potential champion, however we don't have to fear any team either. We could be considered a very dark horse, but the same applies to Chile, Colombia and Japan who all brought some high-quality teams.

Yeah, i thought the same, Belgium has a nice team and a nice chemistry.
So, it's a must for it to qualify.
Uruguay has a nice team too, but not a nice combination among the players.
    P.S
I wouldn't be surprised if Italy would not make it to the 16th !!!

There aren't any excuses if you fail to make it to the next round when you have such a large amount of quality in your team and you are playing against Algeria, Russia and South Korea. Neither of them weak teams of course, but none of them are either real big teams. On paper we are even the weakest group. What happens after the first round is a bonus, though we are secretly hoping of course for a stunt or two. Normally Portugal or Germany awaits in the next round and potentially Argentina in the round after, so becoming world champion would still require some miracles

Uruguay has on paper a few good players, however they barely were able to qualify.

Belgium has a bunch of talented Young Players.Among all of them for me the notable ones are "Lukaku",he is one of the hard hitting strikers+with techniques and "Eden Hazard",A genius Playmaker. Are they in the team??I can't see their names in official FIFA website??

Of course they are in the team. Lukaku is on fire, he scored 4 goals in two of the last test matches, including a hat-trick and Hazard likewise scored a beauty.

Yea Lukaka and Eden are selected, so they are most likely in Brazil already
I think De Bruyne is more of a key player than those 2 though, hes really brilliant in my opinion, even more so than Hazard I think.

I will root for Belgium ofcourse but like Caliburn has mentioned past the groupstage some potential titel candidates are waiting directly so it will be damn hard
Im really thrilled to start watching, did not knew it already started tomorrow lol , thought sunday , to bad so many late matches -need my sleep-
