Its interesting that Danzo was able to fool Sasuke even though he was using his Susano dojutsu. The mystery named Danzo. To me its the implanted Shushi eye that he implanted that allows him to control all the other sharingans in his arm. Now you have many sharingans casting genjutsu and not just one. Imagine the power he has with that arm. Sasuke was easily fooled but not Madara. It might even be possible that Danzo sent a kagebushin to attack Sasuke and used the genjutsu to hind himself. This will be closer to why he was able to fool Sasuke's eye.I still think that the Danzo that we we see with his eyes close is not the real one. Reminds me of Nagato!

I'm a little confused here. Isn't Susano' the ultimate defense?
Can someone enter it at will? At 22-23 we see Danzou killed. His blood is still dripping, in the left image, which means that Susano'o is still active, but in the next second Danzou was just inches away from Sasuke...

Hey Rogue-nin! Glad you and some the other cool froods are already here! I'd say that the sussano is and it isn't an absolute defence in the same way Gaara's sand bubble is and isn't an absolute defence - it doesn't have a week spot and can't be dodged or avoided like hand to hand combat defence moves, but if you have a strong enough technique it can be penetrated. Like it Sasuke's previous sussanno was by that kage's acid blast! But in this case, Sasuke still has the spinal column protecting him from Danzo behind him, but that part of the sussano isn't very thick so it may look like Danzo is closer. That would be my guess anyway!

This, pretty much, confirms that a genjutsu battle will be held. I would name a total foul the one that would go against Sasuke, especially with the new jutsus/doujutsus he possesses nowadays, but if that opponent is Danzou, I have the feeling that the foul in this one is Sasuke.

True 'the weapon is as powerful as its wilder' and Sasuke is no weakling, but he might be in a disadvantage, if Danzou's Sharingans can be used as normal ones.
The only way to defeat a Sharingan is with another one. In this case Sasuke has to go against three 'Sharingan users' (6 visible eyes 'til now; so it's like he has to face 3 persons with Sharingans), thus he might be caught easily in a genjutsu without even noticing.(at first, at least)

But the real question is how did he do it? Before making the hand seals and attacking Sasuke, all of his eyes were spinning.
Was this the moment he casted a genjutsu on Sasuke, making him believe that he attacked, so he can catch him unguarded from behind?

Even so...Susano'o it's a shield that surrounds its user, so it's not only the front that is protected, while Sasuke's reaction was the "Oh shit! He caught me!" kind.
That's the feeling the second image of Sasuke gives me.

L.E : Aaaah...it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that Naruto is not the only one that doesn't want Sasuke to die.

Kakashi is my new hero of the day. ^^ Instead of asking Sai to take him to where Sakura is and why not gather a few other ninjas while they're at it and go after Sasuke together(because this was Leaf's decision after all), he said that he will talk Sakura out of this.

Same here. There isn't much to say at this point as we are waiting to see the next part of this fight between Danzo and Sasuke. The mangekyou have been fooled. Is this by the nature of the eye or is this the lack of experience on Sasuke's part. I want to see if Madara was fooled as well.

Itachi's genjutsu using mangekyo (Tsukuyomi) was broken by sasuke's normal sharingan wasn't it?

you see that Itachi’s has a similar face to Sasuke’s, but then Itachi is able to finish the skeleton with flesh, etc. I would bet that Tobi/Madara is forcing Sasuke to achieve this level, although I think it is still uncertain that Sasuke will obtain 2 artifacts, the mirror and the sword.

I am torn in who wins here, although mostly I want Danzo to win, to teach Sasuke a lesson. If Danzo lives though, my heart goes out to Itachi whose name was sullied because Sasuke is too caught up in the moment to reveal the truth and protect his brother’s name. I seriously doubt Tobi/Madara would give a hoot about telling Danzo the truth (i.e. that he spilled the beans and Itachi really is a true shinobi) because for Tobi, Itachi was just another fight to amp up Sasuke’s abilities.
