When Makarov retires, who do you think would become Fairy's Tail Master?

I have a feeling Laxus will return in the near future and become the master.

i think laxus will be back sooon ,when his father make his move ..then defeat his father ...and old man macarov will title him as the nxt master...

from the available mages ,gildz will be the best master.....but in fairy tail you can't expect anything

Laxus was expelled, although I think he might return I doubt he will become master.
IMO Gildarts is the perfect candidate. Everyone likes him, he's more open than the others (like laxus or mystogun T_T mystogun), and to top it all off you can make the argument that he's the strongest mage in all the guilds (excluding the masters of course). He's the only one who seems to be fit for the job(unless makarov stays around till erza is old enough).

P.S. I've only recently started reading fairy tail, it comes out on wednesdays like the others, right? And when does the anime episodes come out?

Nah, I'm pretty sure it's going to be Laxus. I have a hunch that he is going to make a comeback sometime in the current arc.
Chapters come out on Saturday mornings. Episodes come out on Monday mornings.

do you really have to ask, he destroys and fights with everyone all the time. He is not happy if its quiet and he wouldn't be suitable to try and keep the guild steady. I personnally think its going to be Erza or Gildartz, more likely Gildartz.
