    Assassin's Creed Full Sync Question

I'm currently trying to get 100% full sync in AC4, this is full game completion so not just the main missions, but all collectibles, side activities etc. I'm doing the same thing with all past AC games too, but in AC2 or I think it was AC:B, apparently there are some things Desmond needs to collect that could have only been done during the story missions, once the main missions are complete you can't go back for it.

Now this really sucks, because I've spent weeks collecting all those stuff only to find out I can't get everything, so does anyone know if it is possible to start a new game in AC2 or AC:B, but keep the previous saved game progress? (progress for the collectibles, of course not the main missions)

    Edit: This is for PC

    When ignored by that person
    whose attention means the most
to you, the reaction in your
    brain is similar to physical
    pain.

You can play previous mission can't you? When you look on how much you have synced in the main menu you can go back on that pivot.

You can go back yeah, but for Desmond's collectibles you need to exit the animus and run around looking for them, but once you complete the game there is no going back to Desmond's part.

Once the game is complete you are left to free roam as Ezio only, not Desmond.

Yeah so I'll have to start a new game, but that's why I wanted to know do I have to collect all those collectibles again from scratch? Is there no other way to carry a saved game into your new game?

Yeah my first resort was google, but just found a lot of people complaining about other stuff and found a lot of unrelated questions. Thanks for your help anyway man, I'll wait a while and see if it is possible otherwise I'll just have to start a new game on my PC and see what happens.

Re: Assassin's Creed Full Sync Question

I'm sure you could go to Documents on your computer and then on to the folder where your game saves are stored (Haven't really played gaming on PC in a long time so can't be really precise) and copy the assassins creed 2 save files and like copy it to your desktop or a USB device then play the game again and start a new game on AC II. When needed to play the previous saved file you could replace it with the new one temporarily. Of course you'd need to save the new one too.

Oh right! Why didn't I think of that. Thanks man, that's a great idea! Hopefully I won't have to end up doing everything right from the start
