If the tailed beast ball hit the other's underside, it's understandable that the other one would shoot upwards. But how did Naruto's go up with it? Shouldn't it go downwards instead?

They can repel each other, as a follow the impact throws both Bijudamas in the air. And at some point Plot, of course, it wouldn't make sense to let the Bijudama explode right before Tobi, Naruto, Kakashi and Bee, it would kill all of them except Tobi.

Why? Because only Itachi's soul dwells withing the earthly body.

It'd go downward if Naruto's was aimed at the top of it.
Physics, just like Kirabi/Hachibi said it hit the bottom a bit and then bounced up. I don't see how that's hard to understand.

I'm thinking that the art of Senjutsu is tied to who teaches it.
Frogs>Frog Sage
Snakes>Snake Sage

You also need to consider the blood contract between Frogs/Naruto and that Snake Scroll thing.

For example, Kabuto wouldn't be able to become a Frog Sage because he attained the Dragon Mode thing.
Same with Naruto. They can both gather energy however, they can't be able to become another type of sage beside the one they are learning.

Whether or not that is the case, I think that is the most logical reply I can give for it, minus manga pages of cource.

I haven't seen any new powers from it. I was hoping that Sasuke w/ EMS wld be able copy just about anything he saw anyone do other than obviously a kekegenkai. Personally, I think they should be the eyes that "see" thru every jutsu. Like when Itachi turns into crows....Sasuke should not be surprised at all, he shld have already seen when Itachi changed and knew what was going to happen. Not only this, but he sold be able to copy the jutsu's too. I'd be happy if he turned into like a "super kakashi"....the copy-cat ninja that can seriously copy everyone & sees what ppl r about to do before they do em! Otherwise.....it's just like he got some cool new contact lenses and can read closer up better or something :/

yours is the only question that interested me so ill give you my take on it

the type of sage produced is directly related to where they learned to absorb and manipulate nature chakra. on the slide when kabuto was explaining some of his abilities and was on a tangent about juugo he expressed that the nature chakra absorption kg of that clan was directly tied to the dragon cave

meaning that one doesnt just absorb nature chakra, but youre absorbing it from the place where that particular chakra originates from rather than just from the area around you which i think is a common misconception

now with regards to the mastery of senjutsu and the differences between the dragon sage/toad sage i believe those differences are caused by the natural oils the animals use to help their human pupils absorb nature chakra, that natural oil which is apart of the initial training imo is what designates what type of sage chakra you manifest. that oil that comes from the land youre absorbing chakra from has its own unique affinities , the only real difference between the sage modes is the mode themselves

Notice how he is clenching his arm. Then he goes on to say, a truce was made. If tobi is Izuna, it would make sense for him to be upset about giving his eyes for nothing.

Since we know tobi isn't madara, and we know that he lied to sasuke about this because he needs his eyes to do the Moon Eye Plan, doesn't this add credibility to Tobi being Izuna? just a thought.
