what did you think about the fight?

my opinion is that i'm a little disappointed to be honest... so many times one of them should have died... also him having to rely on amaterasu to win and him being able to extinguish it seems a little cheap

the fight however seemed to be good on the part of the 8-tails with his strange fighting style and all in all i can't wait for it to come to anime as the action should look good :D

i have to agree there ... the only redeeming feature is watching hawk get kicked around and 8-tails strange but aggressive fighting style

yeah sasuke was almost killed twice... and to be fair even if sasuke got rid of amaterasu'sw flames most of the damage to karin would have still been done (unless it's time reversal which i doubt)

firstly.the raikage will fight them unless they can escape fast enough.

if the raikage fights it should be good however because not that much is known about the cloud village

I voted awful for reasons already mentioned previously in this thread by others. With that said, I am not looking forward to anything else this manga series has to offer.

me too, i mean sasuke defeating the second strongest tailed beast with only amaterasu
is kinda bad.
this is getting too overpowered dontcha think?

to all the comments on amaterasu... agreed... its highly overpowered and is turning into a god jutsu...

Karin has a chance of survival as I think she has an enhanced healing ability... hence her ability to let others heal by biting her...

all that being said... I dont see what the big deal about Sasuke is... I think Neji woulda made a much better dark side candidate... I'd fight Sasuke over him anyday... fraid id have to restrain tho cause I wouldnt want Hinata to hate me for killin her cousin lol...

The whole point of this episode, in regards to its relevance to Naruto is this....


Anyone else notice the difference between the different Jinchurriki's and their ability to keep themselves in control?

A) The 2-Tailed Cat was not a stray, it was a house broken version... thus her power was one in the same with the Cat's. She had no power of her own.

B) The 8-tails was controlled by the Jinchurriki. He used the 8-Tails like any other technique. He had complete control of the demon, and used it as a supplement to his own power.

Naruto doesn't want the fox to come out at all, period. That is different that the 2-Tails and 8-Tails, even Gara for that matter. Gara's 1-Tail protected him from any physical harm, without Gara losing control. Naruto's 9-Tails protects him from harm by healing him, and lending Naruto his power, to an extent, only to try and make Naruto addicted, and thus dependant, to his power... as we saw in his fight vs Orochimaru.

Also, think of what the Fox would do if it found out that Naruto was the 4th Hokage's son? Maybe thats why noone has told Naruto the truth, not to keep his ego at bay, but the Fox's anger...

Basically, showing the other Jinchurriki's relationships with their demon, is to make a contrast between Naruto, and everyone else.

It was a REALLY good fight.....Until the end.
The ending left me a bit....Un-satisfied.
I mean, he we see Hachibi transform into this big bad Ox-topus, but he's defeated in like less then half a manga.
Good fight, but the end left a bad taste in my mouth.

Awful for the simple fact that Killerbee stood around talking and posing instead of finishing them off. he looked awesome at the start and failed miserably at the end when it was all but sealed.

One thing I hate about alot of anime's and manga's is how when someone has the upper hand they get cozy and start divulging crucial information or laying out their plans to the enemies. Just finish it already! Then celebrate...

Could've been alot better in my opinion.

Yea I was dissapointed. Honestly Sasuke took the eight tails out in one shot.... Let's hope Naruto isn't such a pushover lol.
