Is rock lee destined for something great? He has mastered alot of taijustu skills that are on par with Guy. He says guy is his romodel and wishes to be like him. He has a determination and courage like naruto.Recently kishi has made a manga of him why not sasuke, kakashi or sakura.
since he knows most of guy technique do you think he will have afternoon tiger to beat kabuto,madara, etc or do something big?

you never know kabuto was way less powerful in the past but all of a sudden he knows forbidden techniques and scares madara and zetsu.

but lee wants to acheive his goal to be a great taijutsu nin and to be a powerful nin without ninjutsu to show you dont need ninjustu. he has to prove him self against people like pain.

I think he will play large role during the war... I don't think he is going to be anything special compared to the other main characters though.

i think lee will die by going into the eighth gate to protects someone. and because he has no chakra, it could be possible for him to be on a scouting mission to get in and find stuff no other ninja can because they'd be given away by their chakra signature

I dont think he'll be 'just fine' because that would be boring....dying to protect a comrade like asuma and jiraiya seems more flashy plus it would be honorable.

Maybe Sakura or Neji, but he'd never die for Gai. Remember, only the older generation sacrifices their life for the younger one. We've never seen a single story in Naruto where the new generation has died for the older one... gotten injured, yes, but never died for. Same for the post above. Absolutely Lee will add something to the story. It'll most likely be in the form of a sacrifice, as he tends to have a way of doing that now. He'll likely sacrifice himself to save Sakura or one of his teammates, but there is the possibility that he'll end up sacrificing himself for Naruto.
In theory, everyone could possibly sacrifice themselves so that Naruto gets his battle with Sasuke. Especially Hinata, Shikamaru and any member of Team Gai or Team Kakashi.
I'd like to think that Lee won't die (just because he's that badass and needs to pass that kinda skill on), but he is going to end up getting a major beatdown in this war. It's his thing. Getting beat up to show how powerful another character is. :3
