why would oru not kill nagato in the start? he was a threat always? he had enormous potential to see the tablets and techniques. oru had met nagato when he had the rinnegan. even though it was deactivated couldn't he sense the powerful chakra?maybe he did and insisted to kill him because he wanted that chakra.so he leaves konoha .so he finds that chakra and needs a dojustu like the sharingan to fight it. so he needs a good alive body and eyes to use ancient techs to fight nagato in the akatsuki.

because u can't sense someone having or gaining the rinnegan what ur trying to say here doesn't make any sence at all.. jiraiya didn't even wanted to teach them any ninjutsu untill he saw nagato awakening the rinnegan.. After that he decided to train them so nagato would be able to controle his powers and jiraiya succeeded.. Orochimaru NEVER could know about nagato having the rinnegan, but if he knew im pretty sure he would take them as his own

Dude are u claiming orochimaru knew nagato had the rennigan back then because if that is what ur saying then this a waste of time

I want to bring up something about Orochimaru. Although he was insane to the point where he altered himself so much that he wasn't even human anymore he was afraid of dieing deep down. His parents died when he was mad young and even though he said he wanted live forever to learn new ninjutsu, maybe he just didn't want to die period, and learning ninjutsu didn't have anything to do with it.

I don't really think you can sense something like the rinnegan. Also Orochimaru gave an explination on why he should've killed them, they'd be better off considering nobody would help war orphans (especially that guy Nagato went to who said he didn't have food when the bastard was louded with bread and shyt). Jirayia just had to prove him wrong and take care of them.

and your point where he joins the akatsuki to fight him, it is UNKNOWN wheather or not oro knew that the orphan he wanted to kill would be his superior when he joined the akatsuki. you're theory is full of holes; think things through and cover if from every possible angle before you post it

jiraiya may not have known that nagato had the rinnengan, or even that he had great chakra; he felt sorry for the orphans, so he decided to take care of them for a while until they could take care of themselves, and then discovered about his rinnengan, and it was only with a combination of rinnengan and his peaceful nature that made jiraiya even THINK about teaching them ninjutsu

yah i mean for crying out loud this is jiraiya we r talking about he wouldnt leave them there to die or let oro kill em whenever the 3 of them got attacked by that ninja that only hardened his resolve to train them and then of cours he saw nagatos rinnegan and that helped out too but he was already going to train them

but he was only going to train them enough to keep themselves alive, and then he saw the rinnegan and decided to teach them all ninjutsu to cover for trying to help nagato channel his powers so he use them properly for peace. for a weak metaphor, Jiraiya was going to give them a fish, but instead decided to teach them how to fish.

what im saying is he was already going to train them especially because they got attacked by that ninja jiraiya noticed the rinnegan a few minutes after that but he had already decided to do so
