ok this my firs manga thread aight im not that far into the manga and should prolly read it all but im going off of what ive seen in shippuden...

okies

Naruto:
has been alone his whole life pretty much and even though he has lots of friends now, i think his dreams of Hokage+his determination brings the best out in people, he has used is lonliness to become very popular and adventually will become hokage

Gaara:
used his power of Lonliness for hatred, to drive himself to the brink of insanity, not that he was aware of this but it was obvisouly there... like Naruto he was determined but for different reasons, to kill anyone opposes him... we find out later that when both Naruto and Gaara duke it out Naruto teach's Gaara that things are worth protecting Gaara realises this becomes Kazekage and uses his strengh to protect his village like most Ninja aim to do

Saskue:
has used his power of Lonliness to drive people away just so he can hate his brother Itachi, Sasuke is the Avenger as we all know

not much more i can say at this point, work >< damn it oh well im sure u all Know this but its good to get reminded ever now and again

I don't think it's lonliness so much as the effect of it. If your lonley you want people around you right? Well by hard work you become stronger and you get more attention (sometimes). Cycle continues.
