i just hope that the next chapter will be kakashi with the sword of zabuza cuting zetsus and the 6 swordsmen now that zabuza is down.. kakashi with the sword is much stronger now dont mess with him ui ui.

Yup, I agree with you nrto60! I would assume it would just piss him off even more and make him totally freak out!
But, I think that the next battle shown will be Gaara vs. 4th Kazekage or 2nd Tsuchikage vs. 3rd Tsuchikage.
I hope it's a mixture of both because I would love to see the bloodline expansion jutsu of Muu and to see how strong the 4th Kazekage is!

here it says so6p referred to as rikudo sennin. and it is not written anywhere that the rikudo sennin was the s05p.
though i know you support some of madara's paths...i guess i will believe him if and only if:
1. he is in his deathbed doing confessions
2. he is captured and interrogated that he surrenders all the knowledge he has -- for the truth or
3. he switches side and help the alliance against ...lol...kabuto

damn...you shook me here..."the zetsus still travelled through land at the bottom depth of the ocean". geeezzz
i think i have to accept this...but, isn't it closer to travel distance A to B in a straight line? going in the depths of the ocean indeed took their time to attack, but an intelligent plan to go undetected. still, isnt this way a lil foolish? thoughts idol?

Hmm well ya it does seem a little strange that they would appear from the water if in fact they traveled through the land, but we have to take into account the situation and logistical purposes. Durai's troops were positioned near the water right? So perhaps Madara felt that ambushing them on the coastline would be a good idea. Ya, it may have been a longer trip for the Zetsu if they merged with the ground on dry land and then had to go the extra distance downward in order to stay below the depths of the ocean, but perhaps this isn't what they did. Perhaps they followed the coastline and then simply went under the water for a short time in order to position themselves according to plan? I mean right now they are in very shallow water, it wouldn't have been much of a detour only going under the water at those shallow depths.

Even if we assumed they took the most out-of-the-way route, it is not like it would have stalled the battle much. I mean think back to when Madara and Zetsu went to pick up Sasuke and retrieve Itachi's corpse. From that, we know Madara can basically travel anywhere he wants instantly. As for Zetsu, he traveled the full 10km (about 6 miles) in a matter of seconds. For number purposes, lets say he traveled that 6 miles in 12 seconds. Thats half a mile per second or 1800 mph. If he traveled it in 6 seconds, thats 3600 mph. Either way, we know he can travel at insane speeds when merged with the ground, even if these are over estimations. My point? The extra distance traveled would not have been a factor in the least.

Now the time frame is a bit strange that after setting out, these Zetsu's are just entering battle. But we have to assume one of these things: Either

1. Madara waited until he thought attacking this group was optimal
2. He held off on sending them into battle until receiving Edo reinforcements
3. Or those Zetsu do not share the real Zetsu's speed capabilities

I am really leaning toward a combination of 1 and 2. I think we can assume that white Zetsu is in control of the fast travel considering Madara bothered making clones of him. Since Black Zetsu does the recording and what not, it seems he is of less use in mass numbers.

Further thoughts?

Wow..Just WOW!

Omningan, Pervy-nin, and Danivas...You all gave remarkable explanations for your beliefs on what the 6 paths really are. I just wanted to give a quick shout out to you guys because you three have inspired some of my beliefs for what the 6 Paths are which I am going to elaborate on right now.

First, I want to lay down the initial foundations for what I believe the 6 paths are.

1. Senju
2. Uchiha
3. Uzumaki
4. Hyuga
5. Fuinjutsu
6. Senjutsu (Not so confident about 4, 5, + 6)

I was favoring Omningan's point of view with the Paths mainly being a collection of DNA and chakra ( btw, I also loved your connection of Madara and Nagato. How EMS in an Uzamaki/Senju body will generate the Rinnegan. This theory is similar to one I have had in the past which opens up a multitude of possibilities for Naruto in future manga). Back to the topic at hand though. I believe that the 6 paths are a collection of the DNA and chakra of the So6P. The first three paths I will not explain because my reasons for believing that they are part of the paths coincide 100% with Omningan's (being DNA based).

Obviously, Tobi is trying to recreate the So6P within himself. So, it seems only obvious that he would have to recreate the So6P by collecting and recombining the So6P's DNA within himself. That would explain the Senju, Uchiha, and Uzumaki Paths. Now, the only probably with this theory is that this would also include the Hyuga clan as well because just as the Uzumaki clan is a branch of the Senju clan and is included in the paths, the Hyuga clan (being a branch of the Uchiha) should also be included in the 6 paths since their clan also possess a portion of the So6P's DNA. The reason why I'm not so confident in this theory is that the Hyuga clan has not been described as such and is almost completely ignored when flashbacks about the lineages of the So6P is brought up. They are almost put on the same level as, say, the Nara clan in terms of importance to the story line.

The Senjutsu path lines up almost perfectly to Omningan's reasons except that its a little sketchy for me. I understand that the So6P was a sage who is one with nature's chakra (monk) but it seems to me that Senjutsu isn't enough to be considered a path. What I mean is that Tobi stated that he had 3 paths once he took out Nagato's eyes (Uzumaki DNA). I would believe that Tobi (if he really is Madara) would have been able to master Senjutsu after all this time. If Senjutsu is indeed really one of the 6 paths then why haven't Tobi/Madara already attained it after all these years? Why is he waiting until after he has stated his plan to his enemies, attained half of the other paths, and started a war to just start mastering Senjutsu.

Also, if we taking into account Senjutsu then we would also have to factor in Fuinjutsu as being a path as well since the So6P had mastered this also. Not to mention that Fuinjutsu would be immensely useful in sealing the Bijuu inside of himself (Tobi/Madara), which is what is needed in order for Tobi/Madara to acquire his main goal of what we now know as the Moon's Eye Plan. Daresay, more useful than Senjutsu. And if the whole goal of the paths is to recreate the S06P so Tobi/Madara COULD seal the Juubi inside himself, Fuinjutsu would be a necessity.

There are a lot of holes and alot of things still needed to be explained. I also believe that some of the paths aren't things we know of yet.

Kakashi lacks chakra level high enough to do that i think.
Copying and using their jutsu specially of ninja of their caliber would only drain him.

if the two clans Senju and Uchiha didnt excist before the so6p fatherd them then how could the type of clans your mixed from turn you into a so6paths

they wernt around before him it took somthin else to give him his rank cause his parents werent from either clan

i think its the four element styles plus ying yang have more to do with it but theres gota b more 2 it otherwise nagato would have also been called so6p since he new all 6 element styles http://www.narutobase.net/manga/Naruto/375/11

i see you label the white zetsus as "the stupid ones" lol. that is great. why go around the coastline or go full route in the land part of the ocean's abyss, " when they can swim". seems they are not afraid of the waters eh. okay, assuming they swam...that means they still can't travel through water.

m, it implies then that "tobi-madara" cant warp through bodies of water too. further thoughts floydi?
and naahhh, wont contest your calculations re the speed nor velocity of their travel. am poor in mathematics. shows, the white zetsus are a bit madara-tards hehe... i mean, why cant they just swim the ocean? are they afraid of kisame? -- just kidding idol lol. yet your propositions are quite correct to insinuate the zetus do travel by land alone -- for the meantime. now, the black zetsus are "einsteins" huh? i guess i wont throw the same questions at them re "water travel".

....why isn't there "A FEMALE UCHIHA" featured in the storylines so far? i mean, why didnt sasuke's mother show us her "sharingan'? -- trivial as it is, glad you could share floydical...

i just believe he wont. in the storylines, the revived jinchuurikis are stated to be "bijuu-powerless. so idont know if i still have to repeat my claim. other pointers dude?

...then, speaking of the modern art of replication... say we have the so6p's dna, reanimate him or clone him -- i truly believe the juubi's power won't be present with him...right floydical?

We all agree about this chapter. He built up tension. I would add that in my opinion at the end of the fight naruto vs sasuke, sakura dies. 2 times sasuke almost killed her this time he just do it (it will be like with Chio in shippuuden).

the two clans didnt exist during the rikidou time they are decendants of the sages sons thats what madara said senju has life energy and the sages body and uchiha has the eye power and the strong chakara bye putting them together is like putting the sons together==== rikodou sage the sage split his power in half and gave it to the sons

hey a thought just occurred to me, why didn't kabuto summon the third kazekage??????? i mean, he was the most powerful kazekage in history.......... perhaps he couldn't find the remains of the puppet.......... but seeing as kabuto had managed to get dna's of so many important people including itachi & nagato, one would think that he should have got dna of third kazekage................
