Remarkable Balance in the Naruto World
Ever noticed how certain things in Naruto can go unquestioned because we don't really take heed to that part of the anime?... for example....
When going to rescue Gaara, Team Gai along with Kakashi, had radio transmitters when they tried to breach the seal on the entrance of the Akatsuki hideout. You'd think that there could atleast be satellite as well for allied countries to communicate instead of sending bald eagles or frogs or any kind of summoned animal to relay a message... especially in times of emergency.
But then again, the makers seem to make it as though it's natural, and not out of place. There's a good balance between the modern-ness of the setting along with some good old- fashion ninja background.
Just a comment... Ciao

I noticed that as well. another example is after the second test of the chunnin exam when the proctors watched a video of gaara's team entering the tower.

Well, sending message by bird or frog would be a little more secure than if they sent messages using long range wireless reciever. Even with encryption the other countries would just develop encryption specialists. With physical delivery systems you have to actually catch the messenger.

I'm sure he would have just took out the tank. Keep in mind both the first and second Naruto movie had some pretty advanced mechanical weapons. For example, the first movie had the train with the rapid launching kunai thing... The second had a LOT of advanced weapons in the form of those ships which gaara took on in the beginning. I mean, no it wasn't AK-47's or AA-12's but they were fairly advanced for the general theme of the show.

You could take down a bird that shouldn't be to hard, during the chunnin exams I think it was, i saw they had computers........mind you they were big white and old looking but they were computers non the less, couldn't they send messages via email or IM? assuming of coarse that they have the internet.
