What kind of power did naruto receive from itachi? Anybody who has an idea?

dude rasengan has nothing to do with wind or any other element. its just shape manipulation of chakra to the highest order.

agreed. kakashi's rasengan is just as good as naruto's or jiraiya's but kakashi couldnt complete the process by adding his element into it like minato before him. he created chidori for that reason

i think itachi give naruto ability to speed up his ninjutsu mastery and to master his chakra manipulation!

I'm hoping it's something to do with controlling the 9Tails or keeping his mind intact while going 4+ tails. Sharigan eyes can control tailed beasts so that would kind of make sence.

As someone stated, it's more than likely a Sharingan counter. To be more precise, a Genjutsu counter, since he seems terrible at countering it.

Also as someone stated it could very well be the power to "control" the 9- Tails full power.


A third theory, is that Itachi used it to surpress the Nine Tails, so Naruto can't call on it if he was to ever fight Sasuke, again protecting his brother.


In the end, we will all sit here when it's revealed and praise Itachi's genius on how he thought of EVERYTHING and prepared it before his untimely death.

Same goes for Minato, when we finally find out the whole origin on why he sealed the 9 tails in Naruto and for what purpose. My gut tells me we have not seen the last of Minato or Itachi....

Although I am not sure wat the power is I am fairly cerain it has something to do with controlling the nine tails fox.
i mean that uchiha has the ability to control the kyuubi, which could help
naruto maintain control of his body when using his fourtailed
transformation or even when going higher levels to the extend of nine tail

I hope it isn't that. I'd rather see Naruto master his 9T chakra and use that 'secondary' flow to interupt his normal chakra, thereby breaking the genjutsu. I remember he failed this early during an encounter with itachi, but he is aware of it and should (if he's smart) master it during his sage training.

Yes, it was stated to be an unknown illness several times, and that it should have killed him long ago but the love for his brother kept him going. The illness and the strain it put on his body is what "killed" him in the Sasuke fight.

Also, I have a feeling what Madara told Sasuke is not 100% true....there has to be some fibs in there somewhere to try and "pull" Sasuke towards him.

do u guys remember when itachi and kizame was inside the toad stomach and itachi used his black flame. did j-man stop the flame and seal it into his scroll? so can jman counteract the black flame. do u guys think itachi whatever-he-gave to naruto is related when they met j-man? a black flame counteract?
