Aha, I knew it! Dan wasn't just resurrected for being Tsunade's lover, but he truly is a strong shinobi. Some weeks ago someone made a thread to say that Dan was weak, however I stated otherwise and now it has been proven I was right

It surprised me how much Kakuzu actually knows about the different villages and ninja's. Agreed he's old, he orginates from Shodaime's time, but still he knew about Kinkaku & Ginkaku and that Kinkaku could transform into a mini Kyuubi and even when that always happens, while that kind of information was classified in the Cloud. He knows about the relationship between Tsunade & Dan and he remember Shikamaru & co. He truly is no slouch, both brains and brawl.

I lolled so hard with the convo of Chiyo and Hanzou _O-

"I'll get 'em by playing dead and embarass 'em good!"

I'm a bit curious as what happened to the Banana fan. I mean is it really worth mentioning that it's gone if it isn't going to play any role anymore?

I didn't expect to see Mifune enter the battle so soon. But now that he has I am interested in seeing what he can do against the legendary Hanzo. The Salamander summons makes it easy to see how he was able to defeat people with ease..

This may be off the chapter's topic but don't you guys think Jiraiya is still alive? I mean he wasn't brought back by Kabuto's edo tensei, and when Nagato brought everyone who died because of him back to life... Kakashi and the rest who were killed by pain were brought back..What about Jiraiya?

Dude this question was already answered in the manga. Re-read the part when Kabuto explains Edo to Tobi.

This was a good setup chapter. Many interesting things came up like the random disappearance of the Banana Fan, Dan's Ghost Technique, Darui vs Kakazu, Chiyos funny convo with Hanzo, and Mifune vs Hanzo should be a great matchup. Cant wait till next week.

Meh solid chapter. I'm sort of hoping the ridiculosity of the last couple chapters ("they ate the chakra meat of the fox! don't say your favorite word to them!") is over.

Part of me likes the chaos of the war, but it's almost too much - it's hard to focus on any one battle. Dan/Tsunade should be interesting though. In her only major battle to date, Tsunade struggled with hemophobia and sort of came off as weak (although she did get it together in the 2nd half of that battle). I've been hoping for a while to see her enter a battle at full strength and kick some ass, but chances are now we'll be treated to her sobbing when she sees Dan. Sometimes the emotional subplots in Naruto can get a bit repetitive.

What I'm really looking forward to seeing: how Kabuto uses Itachi and Nagato. Will Itachi and Sasuke come face to face again?

Mifune/Hanzou should be interesting too. I'm waiting to see how a samurai can counter ninjutsu with just speed and a sword (essentially taijutsu).

Only thing that annoyed me with this chapter was that I thought we would have seen more of asuma vs ino-shika-cho, but I guess thats next week then...

i dont think the hidden rain has a kage lets see five kage 1 from the leaf 1 from the stones 1 from the sand 1 from the mist 1 from the cloud no thats all five like the hidden grass they dont have a kage the hidden waterfall no kage only five villages have a kage or it counts for the whole country hanzo just had a lot of power

It was a okay chapter, we have been in the war arc for quite some time and still we haven't seen anything epic yet. I think Kishi is preparing for a awesome epic battle that's why he is making us wait.

omg! thanks to mifune, i cant wait what kind of jutsu he have, he must be strong, coz there is no ninja ever in the history of naruto to mess-up with this group except sasuke when he hunt danzo during the kage summit... and the plan of Chiyo of playing dead... lol lets see if she can fool kabuto with his special technique playing dead no jutsu...

Even though these fights are relevant i still consider them to be fillers i means come one this is nothing but a fight that most people wont remember when it comes down to it.

Well i think kishi is doing justice to other characters by giving them some spot light.... Don't forget, he is preparing for bigger battles... And i think that the banana palm fan got sucked in the crimson gourd alongwith ginkaku...
