wow hanzo in action after sososossooso long n his salamander summon man next chapter's going 2 be awesome but i think the leader of the samurai Mifune has some great powerful jutsu under his sleeves but he stands no chance against the great hanzo!

what if mifune has some type of transformation that gives him armour like dynasty warriors and the old school samurais. that would be epic and would make him seem a whole lot cooler and probably earn him some fans... but realistically speaking there is no way mifune should be able to win with kimmimaru there aswell. in mifune group the best ninja i saw was shino (besides mifune of course), so its safe to say shino or his dad will step up and shine hopefully....

On paper, Hanzou seems to be of a greater caliber due to his notorious reign as amekage and actually fighting toe-to-toe with the three sannin. In contrary, Mifune is relatively unknown as he has just appeared in the manga/anime and we do not have much information on his skill except he is the leader of the samurai - who were supposedly stronger than shinobi but look at what happened to em against sasuke who was outnumbered and not even at full-strength :/

Although i dunno if i missed anything but what are chiyo, kimimaro and whoever was with him doing? they're still with hanzou if i remember
rightly. Are they going to sit back? or what? Another thing that's bugging me is that if Hanzou unleashed a poison mist and Mifune just randomly shows up... Why isn't he effected? surely the mist didn't vanish in the space of a few seconds...

One things for sure though; both people have abilities we have yet to see and we're eager to see them, so it should be a good fight.

I might of exaggerated but it was said that any shinobi would be foolish to stand up to a Samurai. Indicating that they are fearsome fighters.

From the recent chapter, now i know how hard Jiraiya, Tsunade and Orochimaru went through before gaining their titles as Sanins. Hanzo's summon is quite powerful in my eyes, but I think many have surpassed him and we yet to see what Mifune's capablle of.

agreed, that's why i think mifune will win, because he's on the side of the alliance. kishi is really disappointing me here, he takes a lot of suspense out of the story.

let's face it, madara has already lost the war, he had almost the same numbers at the beginning and in the last fifteen chapter he lost constantly in ratios like 1:20, without taking out any of the stronger members of the army. even if the alliance didnt have the alliance-invincibility-buff anymore, madara would still be overwhelmed.

how the writing is now, he could probably send members of akatsuki against weaklings like sai and kankuro and would still lose. wait, didnt that happen?

While the alliance always wins in the end doesn't mean the hero characters won't die. My thought is what better place to start then having Hanzo kill everyone there while Kankuro escapes.

Ugh. There is no possible way to know Mifune's powers. Why are there people saying Hanzo is going to destroy him?

Be realistic, we have no idea what kind of tricks Mifune has up his sleeves. Yes, the patrolling samurai at the Kage Summit weren't very impressive, but this is the samurai general we're talking about.

The Kage Summit was a meeting of the 5 Kages and Mifune was there. He's the general of all the samurai and was representing them as a neutral party but he WAS there, so why isn't anyone considering the possibility that Mifune could be in the same league as those guys?

We know samurai can at least use chakra (forget the exact page), but we have no idea; not even the slightest clue what Mifune can do.

Think of it this way:
The very first real fight involving a samurai is about to happen and who did Kishi pin him up against? Hanzo. Of all the characters Kishi could have chosen he picked Hanzo the Salamander King.

If you have any common sense, that has got to tell you that this is going to be a showcase for what samurai can do and you can sure as hell bet your ass it's going to be a very intense fight.

Very true there. Mifune wouldn't be a general on the battlefield if he was weak. He'd at least be hanging back at HQ with Raikage and Tsnaude. I want Hanzo to win as much as anyone, but I'm expecting some good stuff out of Mifune. The fight will certainly be intense.

Sheesh, hanzo fought all the sannin when they were young. If they all were dead, each individual would give hanzo a run for his money, if not beat him. Jiraiya got farther than pain than hanzo did. Orochi maru was always 1 step above jiraiya. @ Tsunade tho. Probly couldn't.
