I wanna start off by pointing out the thing that I know all noobs will say Kisame said it himself in the first episodes that he was no match for Jiraiya. Not true. We have seen Kisame at full power vs Killer bee andall I can say is that was one hell of a close fight. I'm really not sure about the last part but I remember Raikage coming in to save Killer Bee :S

thts kind of slated way in jiraiya's favor lol, kisame can't drain his chakra to wear him out since hes already starting in his final form and kisame's water jutsu aren't strong or fast enough to hit him with sage speed.

Jiraiyas hair needle technique thing would solve the problem of the water sphere. Itachi said that both he and Kisame wouldn't win against Jiraiya. It would be a close call but Jiraiya had more skill then Kisame who was all brute strength so I'm going with Jiraiya wins (with serious help from Gamabunta, Ma and Pa).

Jiraiya has lot of technique when hes on the land..but what if hes on the water..i mean sorrounded by water..he cant breath underwater..so its a great opportunity for kisame to strike jiraiya and beat him badly =)

Jiraya would win...kisame's is insaely strong because of samehada's capability of absorbing chakra and transfering it to him making hims stronger and his opponent weaker but since sage chakra cannot be controlled it just leaves

Jiraiya not being able to summon is kind of ridiculous, but it won't stop him. He almost killed Kisame once in one move, the toad's eso****us. Either way, Samehada is useless since it can't absorb nature chakra, nor the ninjutsu Jiraiya casts since they incorporate it. This neutralizes Kisame worse than no summons worsen Jiraiya (In a loophole, he could ask Ma or Pa to summon, lol).

Advantage to Jiraiya in: experience, genjutsu (frog song), taijutsu (sage mode), ninjutsu (sage mode w/ fire, air, earth, and water + combination jutsu), and stamina/endurance (sage mode) since Kisame can't get free refills from Samehada.

This is a very bad matchup for Kisame, strong or not, because of sage mode with nature chakra and the ineffectiveness of Samehada. The argument that Kisame beat Killer Bee and thus should beat Jiraiya is bogus, transitive inference fails all the time here, which is why it shouldn't be used, albeit mentioning techniques in the fight are valid. Knowing the secrets about sage mode aren't going to help Kisame either. It's just a bad matchup.

wow this is an easy guess. Jiraiya will win hands Down. he will a very bad match for kisame. Once Kisame uses his samehada or any chkra sucking jutsu, hes done. Samehada will become a toad, lol.
That being said, in Naruto Episode 83, Even Kisame amited that jiraiya, being a konoha sannin, both uchiha's name and the one of the 7 swordsmen seem petty before his name. Itachi admited that in the best case scenario if both he and kisame attacked him, all three would die and even him is not sure of that happeing. Furthermore, they both ran away from him when he summoned that mountain toad stomach

I'd go with J-man , Kisame got killed off pretty damn easily (quickly) if you ask me , too easily as a matter of fact , but in any case J-man put up this huge last fight with all his might and Kisame ended up so f*cked that he made his own shark eat him , idk that alone makes me look at the whole thing from another perspective and makes me just wanna say J-man ftw

Jirayia easily. Sage mode = strength + speed + chakra. He also has genjutsu (which is quite strong). Kisame cannot really expect to win. It would be like Gai vs Kisame (the last fight) all over again.

if your starting jman in sage mode that isnt fair, because right there he already has the advantage with sage chakra, ma and pa, speed, defence, and etc etc. while kisame has to drain chakra to get more stronger but if he drains sage chakra and it turns the sword into stone then jman has this one, if not then kisame might have this one, but i still doubt it..
