Agreed, I honestly thought the fight would be more intense than that.

Now that we are seeing Hanzou's disappointing fight, I'm questioning the reputation of the 3 Sannin.

Or it could be that Mifune is just super strong.
That battle was a long time ago, maybe 10-20 yrs back.
The 3 would've still gotten stronger after they're fight (e.x: Orochimaru still trying to master all jutsus)

howdy? a good 5/5 chap!

mifune is a good man. he is a good samurai. as an advocate of peace, he will win this battle against hanzo regardless of hanzo's immortality. it is not a matter of whether hanzo will regenerate or will he be able to fight again.
hanzo is dead, and i think he will be freed no matter what....

this battle is ended...

a samurai's strength will be measured with kimimaro's skirmishes. kimimaro won't use ninjutsu and other shinobi techs. i believe, this will be mifune's battle.

shika-ino-chouji vs asuma will be easy. asuma will be immobilized and mummified.

kankurou will learn a lot from chiyo this time, then chiyo being freed like sasori.

another exciting battle would be that of chaoza plus shizune against dan's ghost transformation - a jutsu comparable to madara's non-solidified personification.

you are right, kishi will feature ten-ten in the later parts of the war. as a weapon specialist, ten-ten will be very useful in tandem with Naruto later on...we will find out why.

should she happen to bump off with the banana fan, at this manga-point in time she wouldn't be able to wield such a treasure. Unless she is an upgrade - like possessing a chakra-source tool or a chakra producing weapon with her - the banana fan will give ten-ten rock star status overnight.

ten-ten will definetly be a great help during this war, and im really wondering who has the banana fan.... my biggest hopes are :

1.see sasuke EMS
2.see naruto's progress with this attack he is working on
3.see kakuzu fall back from the battle field and get hidan back in fighting condition ( i really hope for him to return, whats the point of being immortal to be defeated once and not come back.... his revenge on shikamaru may never happen so whats the harm, not to say it wouldnt be a good twist to see hidan actually kill shikamaru.)
4.see kakashi's rampage
5.gaara vs the kages
6.mifune finishing off hanzo and the other edo tensei that was attacking kankuro's group
7. and finally sasuke and naruto have a minor scrap on the battle field, both clashing like a dead serious fight... ending in a tie and they both realise that they need to perfect their new abilities more than what they are at... and then madara and kabuto use nagato and itachi to kill a few kages and then get pulled back from the battle field, maybe have itachi freed by sasuke talking with him and hopefully converting sasuke back to good...


LOL those are my biggest hopes in order of how i want to see plus in decisive order of how badly i want to see it happen.

4. see kakashi's rampage --- this will be sooner than expected. this is long overdue. but the war spectacles are getting thinner now as features...so, let's wait a bit..
5. gaara vs the kages --- to put it differently, it will be gaara+oonoki vs the kage-zombies. this will be epic...

--- yebaaa, this is the sweetest....though i hate deaths...twists like oonoki and raikage dying for the war's end...before the "real war" would be great...Naruto and sasuke with god like prowesses...then madara in the brink of extinction - not to mention kabuto (with a hibernated scales as the only memory...)...this is the real thing....

ten-ten is still a great character so she will have a good role to play in this war, im still wondering who she could go against with or without help and defeat while looking cool.... there is so many edo tensei people that havent found there place on the battle field yet such as the previous jinjuriki's and i think another group or a few... idk but she wil have a great role and sakura will too.

wouldnt it be cool if ten-ten had learned how to stream her chakra through her weapons make her hell'a dangerous? it would be awesome, and i think she would be the right person to defeat kimmimaru if she had/has chakra streaming as a learned ability.. (samurai style)

hanzo is fighting like a mere genin, no skill are shown of hanzo.
remember he used time transpotation tech against nagato when he forsed to kill yahiko, but now he is shit.

Because ninja's took the samurai's over like Hanzo said, they needed to find a way to counter the ninja's. One of them is their masks against poison, the second is to stop them using ninjutsu by attacking the opening while making handseals.
Hanzo is a strong ninja, but Mifune is a strong samurai, a samurai that mastered the art to counter ninjas.

I think Kishi did this, so that we can see that the Samurai's aren't weak.

well I'd say its safe to assume that many things will be affected ... and possibly some big delays... hopefully they have some stuff done just waiting to be released... ie: anime/manga...

yes it is all sad i know kishi is ok since he lives in a different city (or so wiki tells me when i was trying to see if he lived anywhere near Sendai) but but the worst part is that japan is sure that there will be a melt done which will effect all of japan once any and all of the radiation gets release into the wind and travels i hope thing turn out good but so far its not so seeing that this is the case so far im betting there will be a gap in the manga and all anime depending on the how bad it turns out to be i mean death toll is already over 10,000 i feel bad for them all
