Itachi gave Naruto some of his power in a form of a crow in his Tsukuyomi, to use against Sasuke.

Naruto, someone who has earned everything he has atm gets the Rinnegan because a Descendant of the 'EYE' faction of THE RS makes him gag on a crow?

Naruto is also a descendant, UZUMAKI clan.

Naruto will not get the Rinnegan because of Itachi.

dude.. you are completely contradicting yourself.. you are pointing out that naruto and nagato were both uzumaki being related to the senju and thus being descendants of the sage.. it increases naruto's chance as he not only is a descendant but also has the physical body of the sage.. and itachi could do the same thing madara did(if whatever madara claims to be true about giving nagato the rinnegan).. after all its just another possible thoery..
madara and itachi both have MS and are geniuses of the uchiha clan.. and both were from the akatsuki.. and according to madara he claims to have given nagato the rinnegan..(or atleast created a condition where nagato could cultivate it).. finally is boils down to these two theories.. the 1st one.. and this one..

Just because Madara gave Nagato the eyes, doesn't mean he was the previous user and it certainly doesn't give Itachi the chance of giving it to Naruto.

I like theory 1. It makes the most sense to me. I mean as powerful as Itachi was I just don't think he had the means to give Naruto anything more than a hidden message as a back up plan just in case amaterasu didn't kill Madara and Madara persuades sasuke towards the dark side which happens.

I seriously wonder if the manga will go like this.

Tobi is revealed to be Madara Uchiha, as we have been told.

Naruto doesn't give up his big blue eyes for the Rinnegan.

Naruto ends up marrying Sakura (I'm actually a Hina fan... If I have to take sides in this ridiculous debate).

Then the story ends, and Kishimoto states Naruto is over.

THEN I come to Narutobase, and I hear.

THEORY! TOBI IS ACTUALLY OBITO!

NARUTO IS GONNA GET THE RINNEGAN AND WTF PWN SASUKE

And, Naruto is going to get with a flat chest.

For the record, the crow is simply the shape itachi's energy transfer technique took on, it doesnt mean when this power is released from naruto its just going to be a crow, because the way ur talking, thats what ur implying. Also where does it say Madara has the means of giving someone the Rinnegan????? nowhere... so there u go, itachi could easily give naruto the rinnegan if madara can, out of nowhere, possess the power to give somebody the rinnegan, so before you go flaming people about their posts, check your own first.

Maybe Itachi gift was a ability to counter genjutsu and exploit about weakness of Sharingan,,cuz i think it was useful and make sense than to awaken Rinnegan....

as far as madara n his rinnegan... i think that he may have given it to nagato like a mother gives her eggs to a serogate... mayb he gave nagato the power to unlock it, with the hopes that he would b able to get it from him or atleast use him n da long run... i doubt that itachi gave that ability to naruto tho...

THere is a simple reason why Naruto will not get the Rinnegan and subsequently any other eye jutsu/technique/type and that is because of the story that Madara told us of, the story of the origins of the war between the Uchiha descendants and the Senju descendants. ...

The upcoming Naruto and Sasuke battle will be made to play our the "Destined" fight between the Uchiha and the Senju, just as Madara and the 1st Hokage did. All conditions have been cleard. By that i mean Sasuke has attained the EMS, and has grown to be just as hateful as Madara was when he left the Hidden Leaf. Also Naruto has obtained the Kyuubi just as the 1st also attained it eventually for his battle against Madara.

Madara said that the two brothers had distinct gifts, the one having powerful ocular jutsus and great spiritual energy while the younger brother had physical strength and some other stuff i can't remember too well. Just re-read the corresponding chapter or watch 203-205 i'm sure it will be talked about in the coming episodes. And they battled with their set gifts as it were.

Hence i know for sure that he will not get any of the eyes. Notice how everything that Naruto trains with has to do with physical energy...

I think there is a secret to the EMS, maybe Itachi knew Sasuke would take his eyes. And get the EMS, but it's not about the user of the EMS, it's about the eye that's being used. And the gift could be to seal his own eyes, when Sasuke activates the EMS.
