J-man when he doed against pein, He had six chakra rods stabbed into his back as he sank to the buttom of the sea. Pein uses these chakra rods to control the six paths of pein as show all over the pein arc so not really need to show eveidence :P. Pein died to naruto, or over chakra use w/e and was then rezzed by edo tensei. So could edo pein be used to control the rods in jiryas back to control his corpes up to the surface? As they were chakra rods due to the fact pein did the same thing to naruto by stabbing his hands to the floor and he later used the rods against pein to find nagatos location. So in summary

do rods in j-mans back = Control over corpes and if so will he be controled by just pein or do you think Kabuto will edo him even tho hes under peins control

Well if that is it , then he is technically not being revived his corpse would simply be controlled, but if you do bring his corpse up to the surface that way Kabuto could then take some of his DNA then use Edo Tensei on to revive him.

they don't just control them if put in him they have to be placed in certain locations on the body i believe. but as much as i would like to see the return of the pervy sage i don't think it will happen it would to randomly placed in the story line

yeah, the rods need to be placed on certain areas of the body in which to control and I think there's just too much distance between the two. On top of that I think Nagato would need that machine to actually control the body.

mmm this is true without that machine i don't think even if the rods had been placed correctly it would work but i think the machine also strengthens his range so he ca control from more of a distance as well

Im pretty sure kabuto would know how to work a chakra controlling machine. Pretty sure that if pein could be controlled in konha when nagato was in the forest quite far away ( Naruto went across like 50 trees in the anime to get to him) i think if they got the machine by the pipes where j man died he could reach it

Oh Yeah and couldnt kabuto just lower a edo tensia summon down the sea ? as they wouldnt died of water pressure due to the fact its not a binding death or putting them to peace?

i think nagato needs the machine to control bodies like MrSharingan said. besides, nagato has plenty of jutsus other than controlling the bodies. according to jiraiya, he mastered all 5 elemental jutsus at the age when naruto and co. were taking the friggin chunnin exam.

I had a better method, have the toads reverse summon him to their village, but at this point I'm not sure how much of his body would remain, after going down so far in the ocean/sea the pressure should/would have crushed his body pretty damn flat,

And I'm sure its already started to decay, and started to be eaten.

the only way I can think of retreiving Jiraiyas body is if they did a reverse summon, but since he's dead his name wouldn't be on the scroll anymore. Or maybe Juugo can talk to whales or somethin. and then to revive him, just get Chiyo to teach someone that tech she used to bring Garaa back. lol idk:D

Yeah but good luck sepperating all the blood that would have been on them. And other than the chakra rods I have no Idea what the weapons of negatos paths of pain were. Except that one Machinish one who had the missles/saw kind blade things.

a medical ninja of kabuto's calibre should have no problem getting a dna sample from the weapons. even a tiny amount of dried up blood contains plenty of dna samples and that's all he need.

of course, this is if kabuto can get his hands on pain's weapons.
