      Stephen Hawkings

Has anyone read The Grand Design, A Brief History Of Time or Universe In A Nutshell?

If you did, what did you think of it?

If we have an opinion but do
not voice it, are we really
      ourselves? Aren't we just
      complying to conformity?

I've never read it to be honest.

Physics was never my best course at school, and it just doesn't intrest me, though astronomy does. Then again, I think Stephen Hawkings is a bit out of my league.

      Re: Stephen Hawkings

I love those books, I actually bought the combo brief history and nutshell and gave my originals to my nephew. The Grand Design wasn't anything I hadn't heard before... I was still very interested in the way the information was presented though. I read a book on chaos theory a while back and it had a large section on fractal geometry that really interested me I can't remember the name, so I'll look around my house for it. If you like S.Hawking's books, you should check out The 4% Universe by Richard Panek!

If you can find it (it is very rare and hard to find in any sort of quality that is) you should check out the A Brief History of Time movie! narrated by Dr Hawking himself... With the help of some non computer voices... but the words are all his!
