Dude... we've waited two weeks for this chapter. Chouji is totally useless. He's like Krillen in dragon ball Z. His role is to get beaten or die so the main character gets mad and powers up enough to kill the enemy.

He's dead and not coming back cause his body is deep underwater so Kabuto couldn't get his DNA. As much as I miss him it should remain that way. He served his purpose.

Actually i'm pretty sure Kakashi dies in his fight against Pain because he used Kamui to save Chouji's worthless crying @$$. I could be wrong though I'll check it out but I think that is the case. Anyway why is Chouji always crying? He is one of my least favorite characters, he and Kiba.

yup... chouji used it against jirobu when they were tasked to bring back sasuke.... akimichi clan uses special pills to bring out powerful chakra but destroys cells in exchange....chouji almost died after using the pills but good thing tsunade figured out a way to reverse the continous cell destruction....
therefore now that he did not use pills..... he brought out powerful chakra without side effects....

It doesn't destroy the cells. The Akimichi clan uses the calories they eats and converts them to chakra to use their special clan jutsu.
