Description: This technique is a stronger version of exploding water colliding wave technique. The user will first perform the ram hand seal and then spits out a large amount of water that covers an entire area, with massive waves that can crush the opponent. The user then forms the water into a giant orb, instead of releasing like weaker version of the technique.

How he used it

As I see you performing the hand signs I do a single hand sign which allows me too spew out a great quantity of water towards you. The water would cover the area and a massive wave would violently come at you thus blocking the wind and crushing you on impact.

He never stated that he formed it into an orb and if he did then it would look like this

and you'd both be inside of the orb, but you're not (shown by Will's posts and your's) so he had to have let it flow freely. If he let it flow freely it would go around the terrain leaving barely any accumulated water as he basically released it. There is nothing holding the water to take a shape or stay around you guys so it simply covers the area and spreads out over that large area leaving barely nothing (when I say this it'll be pretty muddy and there will be puddles around but it won't be an ocean of water as there is nothing holding the water there to form an ocean)

Now if the area was something like a ravine or a field surrounded on all sides by mountains it would have no where to go so of course it would be like a small ocean but the way bre stated the terrain it sounds like a field that goes on for a while.

I mean if the weak version can do what the bold says then shouldn't the advanced stronger version be able to turn a plain field into a lake type thing? >_<

yes it can, it can release you from B-rank and below Genjutsu

if you are underground and opponent uses Swamp Of The Underworld, than, well, YOU'RE SCREWED

Cant you use the nagashi to negate the swamp alteration of the doton .

Also what can stop genjutsu A-forbidden.

You can use Chidori Nagashi to stop the process, but it wouldn't be enough since it's unfocused. Seeing as you wouldn't be able to completely stop the alteration, the ground would crush you either way.

i got my own strategy against Genjutsu of A-rank, against S and F rank you have to cause pain to yourself

but normally i would say "use Forbidden Rank Raiton jutsu of similar effect as Nagashi against S-rank Gen" and "use S-rank Raiton jutsu of similar effect as Nagashi against A-rank Genjutsu


to Nagashi stopping Swamp, why don't people just follow SY's example?

Just cause you can create a small ocean worth of water even in barren conditions doesn't mean there is anything holding it there (this being the water, tell me what's keeping that water there around you guys?.) It's still going to flow freely once you release it. To me it's common sense, well that's how I see it. If I'm wrong then I'm wrong.

Well, I should add that the technique your using, Its only been shown in the anime/manga once, And from the techniques usage, It comes from the user as an epicenter, So in all honesty in my opinion you may have shocked yourself, But.....Heres another but, The volume of that water wouldnt carry the charge it would simply disperse, Electricity disperses over a large amount of water so i believe it wouldnt actually harm either of you badly, Maybe a slight tingle at most.

Well the water should stretch far and still be fairly deep, I mean an Ocean? Not lake or pond, but ocean, that's alot of water no matter what. >_<

No you make a thread in the Training Grounds to awaken your sharingan.And you are not supposed to defend the sensei would just beat you up untill it awakens so it's not realy a fight.
And you can have an Uchiha bio before that but without the sharingan.

Timeframe, explain everything about it and what warrants a break to it? Exclude the obvious you can't use a jutsu before someone else's first jutsu. I suck at timeframe and need to improve I guess.

personally, i see this technique as being able to produce GIGANTIC wave if you don't shape it into that globe thingie

no, they are different, from my point of view it's like this:

1) Body Paralysis uses your chakra and sneds it into your opponent's chakra system (my point of view, would be better if someone asked Scorpsie)

2) Killing Intent, you use your chakra to release it from yourself in form of your intent to kill (as name suggests )

in other words, from my point of view, Body Paralysis hits your opponent intentionally and focuses on him, Killing Intent releases chakra ALL AROUND you, so i believe in 2 vs 2 it would hit your teammate as well.

+ it's obviously harder to counter Killing Intent than Body Paralysis

Yeah I agree with that Bre countered that however. Now at that point it would just wash out around the ground as he no longer has control over it covering the ground much like when you poor a glass of water out. It would move all around trying to get to a lower elevation basically using the force of gravity til no accumulated water was left (his small ocean) terrain is/was a field with no water source that basically went on forever. Right?
