Wasn't Gen's Name Shibi Aburame? Something i don't get. Was Shibi fake, or what?

and while i was searching around i found out that some pics refer to him a Shibi idk why. but this Naruto official trading card is legit and says Gen. soooo maybe everyone got it twisted by calling him Shibi..?

I know Gen/Shibi is Shino's dad. But due to Narutopedia confusion, i thought his name is Shibi.

idk about that. maybe it was all just a big misconception by the fans of Naruto.

if it can be found in the manga somewhere that Shino's dad was referred to or called Shibi than it was a mistake by Kishi himself. but if not than it was just a mistake by whoever spread the idea of him being called Shibi..

in my earlier comment i post a pic of the Naruto official playing card of him and it says Gen. its a picture of him in his earlier costume in the first part of Naruto. so i think Gen was aways his name but somewhere out there someone thought wrong.

btw this is a good thread. hope the mods dont see it as "annoying" and "useless" and decide to delete or close it.
