So the basic question here is,

What's going on, @ the battlefield.

Is kimmimaro (spelling?) owning the fight or whut, and can you really confirm that Kakashi is holding the beheader sword.

the only things i can see from it are these..

upper right: kakashi and gai are fighting together but not sure who so probably the white zetsus. and it's quite unclear but it kinda looks like he's holding zabuza's sword.
upper left: sakura healing a wounded guy
middle right: probably shikamaru or someone from the nara clan based on the guy's hair style
middle left: random fighting
lower right: kimimaro fighting samurai. i cant really say that he's "owning" the fight because he's battling samurai and not ninjas. they're probably not on the same level. i'm not trying to belittle the samurai!

Well, It seems that during the making of his TBB where he got to control both negative and positive chakra to a specific ratio, he also increased his Sensory Detection with Sage Mode and he' has sensed all the tensions on the battlefield. (that's why Gaara wasn't shown since his battle wasn't started yet and Gaara is cool as a cucumber as always)

Coming to the picture...

Well,
In the left, there's Sakura healing people, below it seemed to be a fight (perhaps Dan's fight but I'm not sure) and at bottom, it's dead shinobis and zetsus.
On the right, there's Kakashi and Gai and their blurred rampage, below them is Kakuzu who is fighting against Shika-Ino and random shinobis and at the bottom is Kimimmaro against numerous Samurais.

iruka said madara is hitting them with full brunt of his force...this could mean....they the joined shinobi forces are acquiring so many casualties with great ninjas resurrected by kabuto...

Top right. Notice the mask covering his mouth, and coming from his hand is definitely the beheader, you can tell by the notch in the bottom.

it's hard to see but if you concentrate well you can see something.

look up for zabuza sword on google and concentrate on the picture

I think it a Manga mistake or what but Kakshi have his eye pads down/close like not using Sharingan. what the hell?

I think I see the sword but Kakashi is holding it at a strange angle. But then again it looks like he may have copied Zabuza's stance and is pointing the sword. If that is the sword.

But yea. Naruto has come a long way to be able to sense all of this going on in this much detail. He made the barrier team look weak and sensor ninja's look cruddy all in one chapter.

@OP it does look like Kakashi has his Sharingan eye covered. Maybe he is conserving chakra? But I would guess it is more of a drawing mistake. Or maybe its a way of saying that Kakashi finished the fight with the 7SM.

lol,though I'm not a fan of sakura, but I believe she's not useless. We saw her healing people up in the last manga, which you took the time to post.

Kakashi is holding the sword pointed straight out (towards us the viewers)..

i myself didnt notice the sword either when i first saw it. its obvious the upper right is Kakashi and Guy. those are the only ones i can make out in that panel

the upper left is Sakura healing wounded ninjas. i dont think its useless lol. med ninjas help win wars.

mid right i definently see Shika, and Kazuzu. i think i see the other 2 ninjas (forget their names) that fought Kakuzu when Asuma died. someone said they saw Ino?? i dont see her

not too sure on the mid left. guess its just random ninjas fighting and wounded.

lower right is Kimmimaru agaisnt a whole bunch of samurais. lol it looks epic
