Sai: well its a complicated affair in which we have to go way back. but here goes. when my lineage was in charge we thrived very much. the Minamoto clan was the first clan of demons to walk these plains. over century's other demon clans branched from us. kayame clans being one of them. which branch i know not but there clan became independent. one of many that were able to stand on the own. when my father became ruler it was because his brother was sealed and banished. decades later his brother is somehow released. and a war of such took place. my uncle was once again sealed away. the people who helped went there own way. when called to help keep his throne in the war against kayame which followed right after. they sided with kayame. normally he would have went to war with all the demons at his beck and call because when my father rallied any one would follow him. but being married to my mother with my older sister on the way he took no chances. but before he marched to war i pleaded with kayame to not intervene and she be named queen but only of the south lands. a man who would fight to protect his throne, as he did with his brother, was willing giving up half his kingdom to not have war. but he did for the better of his family. he had a lot to lose. but me. i do not have much and if i have to i would march to her doorstep for she no longer has any protectors. but being a diplomat i must advocate peace before war.
