    The Summoning Technique (口寄せの術 Kuchiyose no Jutsu) is a space–time ninjutsu that allows the summoner to transport animals across long distances instantly. Before a summon can be performed, a prospective summoner must first sign a contract with a given species. The contract can come in the form of a scroll or a tattoo. The summoner then signs the contract in their own blood. After this, they need to offer an additional donation of blood, perform the hand seals and use the same hand they signed the contract with to summon the creature. The amount of chakra used during the summoning determines how big the summoned creature can be. It should be noted that anyone can summon the animal as long as they have the blood from someone who has made a contract, along with sufficient chakra of their own.
    When an animal is summoned it is transported from its place of residence to the summoner's location. Once summoned, the animal can perform a task or help the user in battle. The summon is not required to help the user, and may be more of a hindrance than an ally. In addition, summons are able to summon their summoner. They may also wear a forehead protector, suggesting a loyalty to only one village.

    Restrictions:

    • You can only own and/or sign a maximum of two animal summoning contracts. When you reach the rank of jounin you can sign or make your first contract, when you reach the rank of kage your second.
    • Summons that are originally from the manga (like toads, snakes, dogs, slugs etc.) can only be summoned by characters who have shown being able to do it in the manga (like Naruto, Jiraiya, Sasuke, Tsunade etc.) and custom characters who have learned it. Canon characters who have not signed the contracts in the manga can not.
    • If you make a canon character that knows a canon summoning (like Jiraiya toads, Orochimaru snakes etc.) you get the contract by default and you don't have to be trained in it. However in return when you drop the bio you loose the contract with it. On the other hand a custom bio has to be trained in it if he wants to know a specific contract, but he can keep it till he drops it.
    • Canon summoning contracts can only be taught to custom characters by sensei's who have made the bio of the main contract holder (an Orochimaru bio for snakes, a Jiraiya bio for toads, a Kakashi bio for dogs etc.). If a contract was made before it was shown in the manga (like hawks) only the original holder of the contract can teach it.
    • New custom summonings can be made for canon contracts.
    • A custom summoning contract can only be passed on by the contract holder to a maximum of five people for them to sign it (so six in total). When one of those drops the contract a new person can sign it. In the case the owner wants to drop/change the contract he has to give it to one of the persons who signed it, that person then becomes the new contract holder. He then can teach it to five new people.
    • Summoning animals from both your contracts in the same battle is forbidden (with the exception of Pein, neither can the Pein summonings be taught to anyone).
    • You can only summon a maximum of four animals per battle.

    New limit for custom summoning techniques.


    As all of you may already know, every single custom summoning technique that is created for a specific animal contract is to be counted towards the 35 jutsu limit of the person that submitted and got that custom approved. However, the animal contracts will now receive a rule of its own, similar to that of the Custom Element Techniques.

    From this point on, all custom animal contracts will have a limit of 10 summoning techniques in total which will not count towards the user's 35 jutsu limit. This does not include ninjutsu techniques that are tied to the contract involving the summoning of said animal in some way, shape, or form.

    For example...(Custom)


    Custom Summoning:
    (Kchuysei: Sepultra) Summoning: Sepultra
    Rank: A
    Type: Supplementary
    Range: Short-Long
    Chakra Cost: 30
    Damage Points: N/A (60 Suiton)
    Description: The user will slam his hands together for the summoning. This summons Sepultra, Suiton Master of the Eels. He is the Size of a basic Kyodaija. Sepultra has the unique ability to manipulate water. Being able to form A-Ranked Waves, Spikes, Spears and other forms of attack via Suiton, he can also form Domes, Walls and other forms of defense using water. Because of his size, he is able to hold 1 person withing his mouth. this proves as a suggestible defense underwater. (cannot perform standard water techniques)
    Note:
    -Can only be Summoned once per Battle.
    -Summon last 4 turns.
    -Suiton counts as a move.
    -Must sign Eel Contract.
    -Requires a Water Source.
    This example would fall under the 10 jutsu spots for the selected animal contract.

    Custom Summoning Ninjutsu:
    (Kchuysei: Unagi Uzumaki no Jutsu) Summoning: Eel Whirlpool Technique
    Type: Attack
    Rank: A
    Range: Mid-Long
    Chakra Cost: 30
    Damage points: 60
    Description: The user will make 3 handseals summoning a Mass of Eels under the opponent, these Eels will swim in a large circle quickly forming a whirlpool. This will suck the opponent into the bottom of the center where the mass of Eels will then converge, crashing down with the water on the opponent and feed on his flesh.
    Note:
    -Can only use 3 time's per battle
    -Requires a water source
    -Must have Signed Eel Contract
    Custom Summoning related ninjutsu
    (Suiton: Mittsu Hissatsu Unagis) - Water Style: Three Deadly Eels
    Type:Attack/Defense
    Rank: S
    Range:Short-Long
    Chakra Cost: 40
    Damage Points: 80
    Description: After performing ten hand seals the user, through sheer willpower and concentration, using the moister in the air, will materialize three 15 ft tall Eels made completely of water. The Eels will materialize at the user's 10,12, and 2 o'clock view. There are two ways the three deadly Eels can be used in. The first being; the user can send all three Eels rushing towards the opponent at the same time as an attack, and the user can freely manipulate the direction they are headed just like Earth Flow Wave. (ex: arc manner from the left/right or straight). The second being; the user can disperse the Eels, making the water combine into one huge tsunami wave that can be used to block attacks, or be directed at the opponent.

    Note: Can only be used twice per battle
    Note: If the user signed the Eel contract the hand seals are reduced by half.
    Note: The Eels can only be materialized at short range from the user.
    Note: Due to the high usage of water chakra, the user cannot use any water techniques in the previous turn.
    Note: No water techniques of S-Rank or above next turn.
    Note: Must have complete mastery over water.
    Note: Must be taught by Mathias.

    Both of these examples above would not fall under the 10 jutsu spots for the selected animal contract.

    In regards to cannon animal contracts, each individual signer of said animal contract will have a limit of 5 summoning techniques in total without it counting towards the user's 35 jutsu limit. This does not include ninjutsu techniques that are tied to the contract involving the summoning of said animal in some way, shape, or form.

    Cannon Summoning:

    Hand Seals: Boar, Dog, Bird, Monkey, Ram, Palm On Ground
    Description:To summon the creature the ninja will wipe blood on the hand, perform the necessary handseals and then touch their hand to the ground or another object. Though it appears that as long as significant pressure is placed against the blood in some form, the summon will be complete. There can be variations to the summoning steps, some ninja like Temari will wipe blood on her fan, then by swinging the fan the animal is summoned. Other ninja like Orochimaru wipe the blood across a snake tattoo on their arm first, then touch the ground.

    Gamabunta:
    Is the boss of the toads that are summoned. He is huge (about 100 meters high) and is summoned for battles with the biggest of enemies. His sons are Gamakichi and Gamatatsu.Naruto can only summon him with the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox's chakra. Without it, Naruto can only call upon some of Gamabunta's smallest children. Gamabunta was first seen in the premiere of the series, where he and the Fourth Hokage face off against the demon fox.
    This example would fall under the 5 jutsu spots for the selected animal contract.

    Cannon Summoning Ninjutsu:
    (Ninpō Ninken: Haundo Bunshin) - Ninken Art: Hound Hair Clones

    Range: Short
    Chakra cost: 15
    Damage points: N/A
    Description: Using the hair he sheds, Pakkun creates dozens of clones of himself.
    Note: Must have a Kakashi bio or have signed the Ninken contract.
    Cannon Summoning related ninjutsu:
    (Katon: Endan) – Fire release: Flame Bullet
    Rank: C
    Type: Offensive
    Range: Short – Mid
    Chakra cost: 15
    Damage points: 30
    Description: Fire Release: Flame bullet is made by the user gathering oil in their mouth, which is created by their chakra, and then they spit it out igniting it. This technique is a simple flame bullet shot at the enemy.
    Note: Must know Toad summoning contract to use.
    Both of these examples above would not fall under the 5 jutsu spots for the selected animal contract. And remember, these are just examples, meaning that Gamabunta will not count towards one of the five spots in the contract itself. Only customs that are made for cannon contracts will count towards the 5 limit.

    If your cannon or custom animal contract has already exceeded these new limits, you will not lose the custom techniques made for them. However you will not be able to create any more customs for that contract either.

    These new limits are very much like the Custom Element Jutsu limits. Meaning that once you reach that limit you will not be able to create new ones that count towards your 35 limit. If your animal contract has exceeded said limits, you are free to submit updates of already approved custom summons. However you will not be able to drop an already approved custom summon and get a whole new summon approved if you have already exceeded the new limit. To do so, you would be forced to drop multiple summons in that contract until the limit is down to nine, in order to create the 10th summoning.

    Just like regular custom technique, you will need to number your custom summons from 1-10 in your Custom jutsu threads.

    Unlike normal Custom Jutsu, Custom Summons can be taught to the signers of the contract by the contract holder regardless of the rank. This means that you don't need a sensei status to teach S-Rank summons and above to the signers of your contract. This does not include Ninjutsu/Genjutsu related to the contract; it only pertains to the Summoning Animals of the contract.
