A tricky question? O_O
STRAW
X____4
WARTS
This is a math question, the only rule is that for each letter there is only one number.
Eg.
If the ‘S’ in STRAW is equal to 5, then the ‘S’ In WARTS is also equal to 5.
I know the words are stupid, I didn’t choose them >_>
There is no trick or catch to it, I want to see if anyone here can figure it out ^^
It is pretty tricky…

Re: A tricky question? O_O
....is it that hard ? why no one post ?
its easy any numbre X 10 the frist must be 0
so S=0
and as the number is X 10 then the first is the second and the second is the thirt......
so W is T and R is A
so S=0 A=R= any number and W=T= any number too
this is simple ^^

Then why is your answer wrong -_-
It's X 4 not X 10. If it would be X 10 then S=0, however then it means it is this:
0TRAW
X____10
WART0
A zero in the beginning of a number? That's only possible if there is a comma and I don't see one. Unless they intentionally removed it, but then it's not fair anymore.
Even if it is a comma that means there is no zero in the end, unless you place, again, a comma.

Re: A tricky question? O_O
S can only be 0 cauz its X 10 also u can put 0 in the first but its waste of time like puting 1,500000 and not 1,5 or like +5-3=2 and not 5-3=2 so we can put 0 in the first
also its imp that number of 5 places ×10 give another number of 5 places so the first must have 4 places and not 5 to giv another 5 places numbers =P

It's X 4, not X 10 . Where do you see that 10?

Apparantly we've got some math-addicts on NB, so it's back open -_-

Is it like straw * 4 = warts and you need to find the nubers of what each letter consist of, or what?
Please elaborate more on what it is that you actually want, and n an idication of what it actually is that you tried to put as a Q.
Thanx
Yes it's STRAW * 4 = WARTS.
What more is there to elaborate on?
This is a math question, the only rule is that for each letter there is only one number.
Eg.
If the ‘S’ in STRAW is equal to 5, then the ‘S’ in WARTS is also equal to 5.
If the 'T' in STRAW is equal to 6, then the 'T' in WARTS is also equal to 6.
56RAW
X____4
WAR65
(5 & 6 were random numbers chosen for this example.)

its commons sense
i 1st tried algebra which gave me the answer 0 according to the Bodmas rules
then i shifted this to arithmetics
looking at there were no such restrictions like it has to be natural numbers so i tried whole numbers starting from zero, making the question "nothing" with the answer "nothing"
and zero is a digit
BTW lawliet ur question said we have to place alphabets .-., thats doesn't makes sense in mathematical language
i expect well done and stuff now
WRONG!
the only rule is that for each letter there is only one number
It's possible that the S, T, R, A or the W=0, but not all of them, only one letter can be zero.

Re: A tricky question? O_O
STRAW = WARTS backwards lol
so if u get straw to be 12345 then warts would be 54321 (12345 x4 would equal 54321) you can check ur answer that way. Btw, each letter is a number from 1-9. I know the answer
