I still don't get this....who did this then? Because from what i understand its impossible for any 1 person to be able to carry out a DDOS attack, you need several people to consume enough bandwidth for the site to crash.Right?

Good to see V is on top of it, I thought it was a problem with maybe the USA server but once I went on a Uk/irish proxy I knew that the entire site would have to be down.

It was most likely only done by 1 person, 2 at most. He probably has some general knowledge on hacking and had infected multiple people's computers with his bots. This way even if the other person's computer is off he still has access and can load a webpage constantly.

Not exactly it can be done by a single person by certain methods.....
though it would depend upon the method used by the hackers.........
there are various ways by which this attack can be carried out.

That is where you are wrong.

I don`t pride myself in this(But I do),I have taken part in a DDoS attack,took about 17 people to DDoS with full power at the highest rate for about 5 hours.
