We saw them against with each other only one time when gai save kakashi from itachi's ms. So who will win if there r a fight between them.
Both r strongest at their class. Gai 3 time kicked kisame. We know that gai easily fight threw genjutsu coz gai able 2 fight with everyone without eyecontect just by see the enemies foot movement. So sharingans most powerful power genjutsu is not work on gai. 2nd gai can counter amaterasu by his speed. The only thing is susano which idk how gai handle it.
So itachi has ms(best ms user),high skilled in ninjutsu n taijutsu. 2nd is gai,who is best taijutsu user,also has a high level ninjutsu,able 2 surpass genjutsu and most important able 2 open 7 gates. So who wins??

There are so many flaws in what you said. All of the bolded parts I have issue with.
First what does that mean strongest at their class?
Secondly Gai only ever fought a weakened Kisame, either 30% power or one that had already been hit and didn't have Samehada.
3rd Itachi has more genjutsu than just tsukuyomi, Guy would lose to some sort of genjutsu.
4th, Guy has only shown one summon, no other ninjutsu so don't say he has high level ninjutsu. Reason would be that he doesn't since he never uses it and likely doesn't train with it.
5th, again Guy can't beat genjutsu, not all genjutsu requires eye contact.

Itachi wins this one in a landslide.

Edit: I'm guessing only the thread creator voted for a draw. Yeah right, in no way would Guy ever win.

Even when Guy said that I thought that was the stupidest strategy I had ever heard. If you look at their feet how are you going to see attacks coming at you from eye level? If I was itachi I would just do Amaterasu at eye level or throw some kunai at him while he is watching my feet. What would he do? Look up to see the jutsu or kunai obviously, then if that stuff doesn't kill him the rest would.

Also why would you make Guy fight the blinded, dying of disease version of Itachi? Why not the Itachi that fought Oro, or the Itachi that beat Kurenai and Asuma and Kakashi? Even if it was just Itachi vs. Kakashi, Asuma, Guy, and Kurenai and you took away Kisame Itachi would still have won that fight. A genjutsu specialist (Kurenai) got beasted by Itachi's genjutsu (which wasn't tsukuyomi), so how would non-genjutsu specialist fare? Especially someone who focuses on taijutsu and doesn't devote time to ninjutsu and genjutsu.

This would actually be a more interesting fight than ppl are considering. Gai has basically little to no ninjutsu, so he should be well prepared to fight someone of any ability whether the have eye techniques or not. Gai trained his ass off and used Kakashi as one of his sparing partners to help him with his downfall of having lil ninjutsu. Now, the looking at the feet strategy seems off, but I'm sure he perfected it enuff and considered the fact that he would need to see oncoming attacks, so I'll scratch that. His speed might be able to dodge amaterasu, with his gates opened and with such high chakra releasing genjutsu if caught could possibly break (I think we've seem this before). Itachi's susanoo would be a major issue, and idk if Gai's tiger attack (against Kisame) would be enuff to defeat it and if there is a stronger technique up his sleeve than that he has a pretty good chance at defeating Itachi.

I've already acknowledged the fact that he (Itachi) has other genjutsu and I mentioned possible chakra release breaking that and as I said if afternoon tiger won't do, it is possible tht he has a stronger (maybe faster) technique in the 8th gate (if he could open it. Nonetheless the Gai would probably lose, but he has a better chance than ppl are giving him credit and I just wanted to state that. #thatisall

I remember when Gai said that he still have to work hard to be in the same level as him. Gai is better in taijutsu, but in ninjutsu, genjutsu and intelligent he don't have a chance against Kakashi.

It seems obvious that you are vastly overestimating the capabilities of the eight gates. They increase his speed and power but neither have been shown to be very impressive in comparison to the top shinobi. Even with seven gates open he needed Bee to throw him to catch up to Kisame, even with a head start Guy should have been able to catch up to him in time but he didn't.

People give Guy too much credit, I mean if his strength was that impressive then he wouldn't have needed to go to the seventh gate just to beat a weak Kisame without Samehada.

The gates don't seem to be as much of a power boost as Sage mode or raiton armor but everyone thinks that it is.Everyone in Konoha knows that Guy uses the gates and taijutsu solely so they know what he is capable of, and they were never asking him to fight the big battles like they were Naruto or Kakashi.


Honestly if you would stack up Guy against pretty much anybody in the Naruto Universe than you are pretty much by definition a fanboy.

Minato, Nagato/Pain, Hiruzen, hashirama, Tobirama, Oro, Jiraiya, Itachi, Sasuke, Naruto, Madara, A, Oonoki, Mizukage, maybe Kakashi, Kabuto, Yamato, Danzo, Kisame with Samehada, Deidara, Sasori, Hidan, Kakuzu, Mu, Bee, maybe Darui, and some other people I can't think of can all beat Guy.
