Welcome. Btw minato was able 2 finish kakashi in a blink of eyes no matter what kakashi do(like sharingan,kamui etc useless against minato.)

Reasons: Super Fast (Which Itachi can't keep up with even with his sharingan and susano'o)
Rasengan (Which has a very great destructive force)
Dead Demon Consuming Seal (Which when the opponent is very strong, he'll die with him)
Guts no to give up (With which he can complete everything with)

.... Sasuke Beat Itachi(Itachi let him win), But Sasuke Proved too be strong too... And Raikage Beat Sasuke and his new powers(MS), and Minato beat Raikage...Now come on Theres no way Itachi would win unless he used Susanoo the whole time so Minato wouldnt get him... And Itachi's Susanoo would fade away after a while because of his chakra draining. Then thats the perfect time for Minato to Kill Itachi... Also Minato can dodge Amteratsu... Only problem is Genjutsu but we dont know how skilled Minato is in breaking Genjutsu

ive seen this thread a lot now but assuming that amatesuru,susanoo and tsyukomi are itachis strongest techniques and assuming FTG + rasengan,speed,sealing etc are minatos then in my opinion it could go either way the tiers on naruto are stupid but what i will say is minato would be at a disadvantage not being able to look at him

Minato would win. FTG is the ultimate defence and offence. susanoo can be touched so minato can seal it or even warped out of the battle ground.
