Naruto deserves to get a high rank since he defeated more than 1 s-class ninjas and surpassed many ninjas with a higher rank than him. Maybe they'll do that when the war is over.

I don't think he should get the lowly chunin rank, one of those three I named are more accurate for him.

not yet, but Minato obtained his, and Naruto is showing skills nationwide right now, so people will start calling him that.

and he called himself that hokage name, so maybe he'll get it one day.

and sage isn't? I know it's not like chunin and jonin, but it's takes a special someone to master sage mode....

Sage is technically a classification not a ninja rank.

Sage would go under the same category as Missing-Nin, just like Sannin, because it's not an official ninja rank, it's one that is given, no one can really become a "Sannin" officially since it's what Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Oro were named by a strong and famous ninja. As well as Sage being something you learn to control not an actual rank.

Technically Naruto's "Rank" is Gennin and his "Classification" is Sage and Jinchuriki.

But yes he is stronger than a Genin, Chunin, and even Jonin.

yea not only is he a good learner...he is a great teacher....konohamarus gonna be strong as hell if naruto keeps trainning him(cud do without sexy jutsu tho lol gay jutsu)

I think Naruto would still fail the chuunin exam. The exam is not just about physical ability (if it is, he would pass it with a breeze), but its also about mentality, knowledge and leadership, like what Shikamaru's got. Naruto hasn't developed THAT much in those areas.

are u crazy? if he didnt have all that naruto would not have stood a chance against any akatski member even with how strong he was. naruto isnt dumb lyk in part 1. i dnt kno why people still think he is. u dnt have 2 be a friggin 200 iq genious to be a chuunin. luk at sakura and all the others. u think their battle plans wud beat naruto? its about battle strategy and naruto has plenty of that..weve seen many times, especially with sage mode. naruto is a leader, he taught konohamaru rasengan which he used on pain 2 save his own life.

He has grown a lot, but how much is not clear. So he has to be tested to make sure he has the leadership of a chunin or a jonin.

i agree. he has grown alot. but i think if he defeats madara, (something his father couldnt do when he was hokage) then he could be at the kage level. He's already defeated pain. and that was before he controlled the 9 tailed beast. and now with his new cloak he's shown speed when he had dodged A's FULL blast attack with the entent to kill. So like i said if he is to defeat madara he is at Kage level.

why wud u use minato to measure kage level. the minimum is tsunade. naruto is better so he is kage level. naruto would mop the floor with orochimaru when hiruzen(yes i kno he was old) couldnt. do u still think naruto isnt kage level? plus jiriya was eligible becuz of his sage and sannin status. naruto completed all sage training nd mastered it.

he got all the way to the last round of the chuunin exams and in that stage the higher-ups choose who should be moved up in rank. so maybe the higher-ups can let him bypass the first two exams and just decide he can be chuunin, and in the same meeting be promoted to jounin.... that would be quick easy....

Naruto and Sasuke need a dual title, like Orochimaru, Jiraiya and Tsunade were the sannin.

Naruto and Sasuke should become known as the Legendary Duo of the Leaf.
Naruto the Yellow Sage, and Sasuke the Last of the Sharingan

No, there's this thing call foreshadowing: when the author tell us what's going to happen before it happens. When Naruto was taking the Chuunin exams he said he'd become Hokage even if he was a genin for life. Naruto will never be ranked higher.
