Naruto vs Pain

So we all know Naruto defeated Pain, however Im not exactly convinced thats how it WOULD have gone down should Pain have been trying to KILL Naruto. So what do you think? If Pain was trying to kill Naruto and not trying to capture him, would things have been any different? (And this is BEFORE Naruto gains control over the 9 tails, so he would ONLY have Sage Mode at the level he was during the Pain fight)

Just Pain and Naruto? If no one else is involved then it has to go to Pain. He used up alot of chakra destroying konoha and killing all of it's inhabitants. And if he had started out with shinra tensei then Naruto couldn't have taken out the other ones so easily. One v. one I don't see how anyone that can't teleport, or has some sort of ultimate defense like Itachi's Susanoo can possibly hope to stand against Pain.

Im not counting Naruto with his new abilities, this is strictly what he could do during their fight. And sure Kishi probably have made Naruto the victor, but im not asking Kishi, im asking you.

Well I think pain would win because in the fight between naruto and pain,the yahiko(pain body) didnt have powers for half of the fight.Also naruto would have to summon the toads himself because he didnt summon them in the fight.This is if its just naruto vs pain.

i totally agree. if they starting fighting both at full strength, naruto wouldnt have gotten as far as he did

The OP's question is simple yet you can't answer truthfully because you KNOW deep down Naruto would lose, so what do you do? make a stupid post about the kyuubi or how Kishi would make Naruto win...

Did you guys see the fight they had? Pain WON, fact. Pain would win again and definitely when he doesn't have any reason to talk or extract a Fox from him.

It doesn't make Naruto less cool so why not just be honest ?

Before Naruto entered the fight:
- Pain defeated the whole Konoha including Kakashi, the same can kinda be said about Tsunade, and don't forget all the really strong Jounins (InoShikaChou father trio and other Konoha 11 relatives (those who have them, AND that INCLUDES Hyuga clan), Hokage ANBU squads, Ibiki, Shizune, Ebisou, ...)
- Pain used the big ass Shinra Tensei and had an enormous handicap since he couldn't use it at first when Naruto entered the Battle (if he could it would be so over for Naruto)
+ he was trying to capture Naruto
And still Pain with all those handicaps would still win if the Kyubi wouldn't have interfeared or if he wanted to kill him he could have before the Kyubi would ever even get a chance to interfere

+ The 6 Paths of Pain are ONLY one technique Rinnegan has to offer, after They would have been beat (which they wouldnt) Nagato still has 7 or 8 (depends on weather you count the YinYang chakra seperately from the Ying chakra and Yang chakra) elements, + a shit load of techs, strong Fuinjutsu and ofc the Gedo Mazo
+ after the enormous chakra consuming Chibaku Tensei Nagato had enough stamina to revive the whole Konoha

I agree that pain could have killed naruto when he was stalked to ground, BUT naruto could have done the same when he discovered the real pain (nagato) so its a tie.

It would never have gotten to that point though. So it is not a tie, if he dies early on he would never have gotten the chance to meet Nagato.
