Loved it and I actually loved the flashback!

It showed is that Gaara's uncle was actually as Evil as we thought. Just following orders. Gaara's past is my favorite.

Liked the chapter, b/c I've been waiting for so long to see the father/son discussion.
Especially loved the late Kazekage's shock to Gaara's strength, and the fact that Yashamaru wasn't as cruel as we were made to think before.

5/5. Great chapter! The best part was the flashback where we learn more about Gaara's history. I've been waiting to find out the truth for so long now! I was glad to see Gaara's mother and that scene where she said she will always protect him made me all warm and fuzzy inside. Also, it's great to see that Gaara's dad is actually starting to show remorse and it's great to know that Gaara doesn't hate his dad anymore. Now THAT's some sweet closure!

Next chapter, I really hope to see my girl Temari kick some ass!

Well then i guess Edo Tensei has its uses, among other thing, giving closure to father and son. Naruto and Gaara really are kindred spirits, having their mothers die just after they were born. Nice history lesson. Now we can get to the fighting...

Loved this chapter. Gaara was so tiny!!! Loved the flashbacks as well. Nice to no what happened to gaara when he was a kid. And nice to see who his mom was. Oh and finally got to see why his aunt talked to him like that b4 she died.gaara is one of my fav characters now. And his dad is so cool. That one kage with the dress looks gay. The mummy kage looks cool too

Quick question abt the flashback. When gaara aunt exploded and gaara turned to the shikaku, gaara''s dad face changed after he said he new he cudnt control it.. It was almost as if gaara got back in control and turned back to normal. Help?

I dont think we can say that for certain back when he was a child bcuz the shukaku could have been protecting the body where it lives as self defense n not to save Gaara. Now that he is grown n w/o the beast inside him the mother protecting his son theory is more possible.

i doubt shukaku was trying to protect gaara if anything it would want to get out of its host...maybe later on around the chunnin exams it was cool wit gaara.


the chapter was dope. i like how kishi distinguished the gold sand for the regular sand wit the sparkly $hit..gold third eye tech = sweetness. i feel like with the old niggas givin away their weaknesses kishi is gonna skip the fight to the end...idk

what i really wanna see is some EMS and what the sharingan rinnengan combo can do...hope it isnt lame.

Not gonna lie, I gave it a 2.
Now before you bite my head off, know that I am just as big a fan as any of you, maybe even more. So it's not that I don't appreciate the story line or the awesome character development [despite a mystery on what's going on with Sasuke], but mainly because I feel like a crackhead when I wait a week and then I only get 15 pages to give me a fix for the next week. Give me a 25 page manga or a filler shippuuden movie and I'll be just fine. On top of that, Kishi decides to stretch out a kage vs kage battle instead of elaborating on what happens to Naruto in Kyuubi mode and how he puts a stop to White Zetsu. Literally, the suspense in this battle is killing me.

pretty nice chapter nice to get a little backround story again I personally like it very much. But but but but I watch jirsaiya vs pain today (again) :P but i was thinking with the ressuruction technick there is no jiraiya so what I think would be great if jiraiya would be still alive only secretly resting and healing and training and that he'd come back stronger than ever to help naruto fight madara. ( i know it's very unlikely but jiraiya is coolest character ever of naruto :D I think) and we didn't really see him die so well that would be great.

Kabuto already told madara that he can't bring jiraiya becaz his corpse is deep down the sea and he was unable to get his dna..

I really loved this chapter. Seeing the facial expressions of Gaara and his dads change really got to me. I'm kinda hoping his dad tells him the truth and then Gaara tears up and Sand Coffin's the lot of them.
