I've heard of Mangekyo Sharingan....but has any Characters in the Series gained EMS yet like for instance Madara?

the only known ppl that have EMS is madara
i guess sasuke now too now that he transplanted itachi's eyes but it still isnt revealed so its not 100% sure

Madara, Sasuke and Tonton. Tonton's eyes are always closed, so Kishi doesn't want us to know that he/she has EMS.
