I just noticed that all the Hokages souls are inside the shinigami that is used for the seal (forgot technique's name)

1st Hokage and 2nd Hokage where sealed away by the 3rd Hokage when he was fighting orochimaru and he summoned them.

3rd Hokage was sealed away by himself trying to kill orochimaru

4th Hokage was sealed away by himself sealing Kyuubi

Time Paradox: If the 4th Hokage sealed himself and was residing in the shinigami stomach for all eternity how could Orochimaru have(attempted to) summon him? even if the 3rd hadn't stopped the coffin of the 4th, would of something appeared since there is no wonder soul of him?

but he attached the soul to the bodies, that's why the 3rd was recognized by the 1st and the 2nd and even maintained a small conversation with them.

wait sorry he didn't summon the bodies as he used the bodies of the sound shinobi, he used rest of his bodies, but then if we wouln't know anyone he woudn't know himself and could not use any of it's jutsu, there will be no point in summoning him...

also i know there will be no way to know this but i will like to know everyone diffrent opinon about this

indeed he uses a sacrificial body among the remains of the summoned corpse to attach the soul into those bodies, and then the kunais with the scroll is just to make them killing machines...so indeed if the 4th's soul is inside the death reaper then nothing would of happened even if Orochimaro had his remains...why didn't Sarutobi Sensei knew this?

There is a possibillity that the technique is stong enough to summon the 4th's spirit from the death god's belly
