[Discussion] Why Is Edo Nagato In His Feeble Form?

I've been wondering this for awhile now actually.
If Edo Tensei revives the dead...they maintain their powers and memories up until their death...but are otherwise pretty much healthy...why does this seem to not apply to Nagato?

Is Edo Itachi still sick?
it doesn't make sense to me

a bit annoying watching Itachi carry Nagato around because of his physical ailment that supposedly was a result of overusing Rinnegan...

now he's dead and in a fake body...why is he able to walk on his own

Probably but the feeble formed Nagato was the most powerful at that (through his paths anyway)

Nagatos legs were burnt to s**t long back when Yahiko was killed. Those legs remained burnt s**t up until his death. Edo Tensei brings them back they way they were before they died, Nagatos legs were always messed up(always meaning for years) so Edo Nagatos legs are the same, either that or he just can really walk anymore(kinda like since he hasnt used his legs in so long he isnt used to walking anymore) But hey, NAGATO CAN F**KING FLY(If Deva Path can, then so can Nagato) WHO NEEDS LEGS WHEN YOU CAN FLY?!?!, hell I bet Goku and vegeta, and every other DBZ chars' legs would be shiveled bones if they didnt need them for kicking xD

In normal cases the edo tensei is based on fake bodies...
but when kabuto first showed up to madara he said that he surpassed Oro and the 2nd hokage maybe he has the stronger version of which the bodies are the real ones

People, don´t forget that right before he summoned that sort of Gedo Mazo while battling Danzou, Konan told Nagat not to use that jutsu.

After using the mentioned jutsu, we see Nagato without the statue, but with steel tubes stuck/pierced on his back. I believe the ending effect of the jutsu is complete destruction of the body/in the sense that somehow it over taKES IT.

Maybe Kabuto has a special talisman, that let the resurrected Shinobi appear in their prime time.
Itachi died blind, so it wouldn't make sense if he resurrected him, Deidara died as a "ball", when the "patrick"-explosion happened vs. Sasuke, the 2nd Mizukage and 2nd Tsuchikage surely didn't die without broken clothes or 1 arm less etc. ...

So that's my theory.

i assumed the reanimation jutsu just reanimated the soul into the body
nagato's body was trashed when he summoned that giant whatever it's called and slammed a big metal spike into his spine
i'm kinda surprised something like that woulden't kill a person in and of itself, but he is the rinnegan user
nagato's body is paraplegic, so when his soul was returned to his body, it returned to his paraplegic body

but if it reanimates the body to when the person was last healthiest before they died, we know nagato was paraplegic for many years before his encounter with naruto

Edo tensei brings back people in the state before they died (or in their strongest form i don't know right now), so it doesn't cure anything. Nagato was crippled before he died and was crippled in his strongest form so he is crippled after resurrected by edo tensei.

and he can't fly that was his Path not Nagato himself... and maybe i'm wrong (i guess it's stated somewhere) but Nagato's main body was a Path too.

There is either a small loophole, or kishi is holding some details back about IWR.

If the edo summons come back the way they were when they died, then technically, Itachi would have no MS...he lost his light before he died while fighting sasuke.

Look at the chapters, his eyes go blind 1 at a time after over using his MS techs against Sasuke.

Like others have said, it could be that they are brought back at their most powerful state, but then why hasnt that been mentioned yet in the manga?

Nagato can walk ... his brain just has to remember how to use legs again ...
He has not used them for 10-15 years so its not that easy ... watch Kill Bill, she was unconscious only for a 5 years I think and it took her a while
