There was this part where Kakashi appeared from the ground to attack pain, and it look like he was going for his balls! An attack that strikes at the core of a warrior's strength!

I think it might be something like that and I really know that konoha headband pain wore couldn't be mistake, I mean like if you would write manga to millions of fans all over the world wouldn't you check the manga for a thousand times if there is no mistake?

No, in just about every fight [Zabuza V.S Kakashi, Itachi V.S Kakashi, Can someone get me a picture of Kakashi when he fought Kakuzu? I'm sure he fought with 2 eyes open then as well] Kakashi fights with 2 eyes open.
This is the first time, to my knowledge, that Kakashi has gone a whole fight without opening both eyes.
It all means something, I'm sure of it...
