Laptop Problems

Can anyone help me? My laptop has been messed up for a while now and it says hard drive failure but I can get on the internet but my pictures, music, and videos are all gone. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

It's probably a viral attack. I support system recovery but b4 restorin creat a system restore point dat after restorin & smthing goes wrong or U didnt get what U want U can restor bak. I advice dat U create a backup of al d files U hav in a separate disk in d future. Gud luk

What operating system do you have?

I'm assuming windows vista/7

If you go to start > accessories folder > system tools

Select "system restore" and select a date from a few days ago, and your computer will reset to what it was like a few days ago. basically travelling back in time (lol) and it will keep intact all the files on your computer before the problem
