how do you know he was absorbing his chakra? nagato clearly used the human path before he binded him.

AMAZING chapter i would have voted 6 if i could.

point of interest on page 13 were itachi says that "shisui's mangekyo requires at least another decade to activate", in the next frame he says "discounting senju hashirama's chakra unlikely as that is"

does that mean that if they can somehow get yamato back they maybe able to use the crow again sooner??

I agree 100% with you. I think in the next couple chapters after Nagato is taken care of, Itachi will go on to explain that Shisui's eye is shot unless Naruto can find someone who can use Mokuton or some other mystical power the First Hokage had that we don't know about yet. This will probably make Naruto realize that he needs to go and save Captain Yamato if he wants a fighting chance against Sasuke. Yamato will probably be able to fix it but it will only be a one shot due to him being weaker than Hashirama.

In other news, I think Itachi will help Naruto rescue Yamato because:
1) He wants Konoha and the entire JSA to succeed.
2) Sasuke is resting at the same hideout

So if it goes my way, everything would set up nicely. Maybe Kabuto could even get beat down by Naruto or Sasuke?

After Nagato got Amaterasu'd, I was like they're just Talking while he's burning Alive But he broke free of it and got his Red hair back, or looked like at the end.

It was a great chapter. Itachi's secret is finally revealed.
I didn't expect shinra tensei to be able to repel amaterasu tough and it seems like Nagato has quite a few jutsu's up his sleeve we haven't seen before.

Nagato was absorbing Naruto's chakra, so I think naruto will go out of SO6P-mode and wil have to fight Nagato in sage-mode.
I think that Bee will stay to fight with Nagato and that Naruto and Itachi will move forward to the battlefield/Madara/Sasuke?

edit: and I believe Naruto will be able to use Shisui's eye again.(due to being an Uzumaki=Senju)

It's good to get those 'Itachi's Gift' theories out of the way. But another decade for Shisui's eye to work again? O.o renders it useless pretty much.

Did people just miss out the key element of Shisui having MS as well?! It has always been said that he only had normal sharingan.
And this sets up something else as well. Danzo had Hashirama's chakra, so not only could he use the Izanagi (not perfectly, but still), but Shisui's eye more often too instead of waiting a decade (he only had to wait for how long? 12 hours?).

Best chapter in ages, can't wait to see what happens next. So Itachi is back to life for real now, only that he's half immortal (or does this cancel the resurrection ability of the Edo Tensei as well?), however his MS seemed to fade away. For just the moment or forever? I'm guessing that since he's been brought back to life now he will lose his sharingan or something because his real eyes belongs to Sasuke Now, meaning he will not be as powerful as he was (well Itachi was MS after all, wonder what he would be able to do without it if that's the case?).
So many questions!

i'm kinda lost somewhere. i have a few questions
1) is Itachi free from Kabuto's control now. free to attack whoever he wants??
2) what will they have to wait 10 years to do? use Shishui's eye to cast the genjustsu? anybody who wants to use that eye needs to wait that long?
3) how useful is the crow now since the genjustsu has been used on itachi instead?
4) if Kabuto intends edo tenseing Shishui, where wil he get his DNA from? or does he intend using the eye himself on Madara?
all in all GREAT CHAPTER!! i think next weeks episode will switch elsewhere and still keep us in suspense

Sick chapter. Beastly really. Itachi is one hell of a shinobi. Seem's like now genjutsu can break Edo tensei. ALso more threadsn of Shisui will come up but seems like his MS activates every decade or so.

Hello everyone I am new here.
Well what i think might happen in the nxt chapter is nagato might break free from edo tensi cuz at the end it says " Nagato becomes complete" i didnt quite get that part.

If nagato is still under kabuto's control then i think itachi might go susanoo mode and seal nagato with its blade.
But i want nagato to break free from edo as well and stay alive.

This chapter revealed so many things plot-wise that it's useless to say more. The chapter is excellent. 5/5, simply. Kishi is astounding when it comes to move the storyline with a nice twist. In fact, he is perfectly using the 4 canon characters to deliver a smooth plotline. At times, it could have been thought that bits can go haywire as it's not easy to depict a battle that involved such 4 OP'd characters but it's perfect till now.
So many theories have been thrashed now and so many new ones are springing up. A defining chapter in many aspects. Fantastic!

Great Chapter . I think Itachi is gonna confront sasuke and they are gonna battle cause sauske will freak out and say "my brother is dead !!" but itachi is like *taps sasuke on the head a smiles saying "its me sauske." Thats will be an epic moment.
