I love the chapter but i gave it a 4 because of the ending. I got a little bit confused. Is Itachi now going to fight against Nagato..... because it looks like Itachi is broken free from the Edo Tensei. Kabuto also made a statement like he cannot control Itachi now. Nagato going all out is awesome. I wonder if bee and Naruto can keep up. Unless Itachi helps them, they will be toasted.

I agree about the Shisui part. He even had MS before Itachi, if you think about it. I just didn't understand if Danzo got his eye while he was alive or already dead (Itachi :"The last time I MET Shisui though... Danzo had already taken one eye").
I think Itachi will have his MS (if he is alive now), he probably just turned it off to not waste chakra and besides - he turned off MS but kept his sharingan in "normal mode" (don't know what to call it) so it would be weird for his eyes to just disappear.

he took be down simple and he is sucking away naruto's soul
he simply looks unstoppable
so here what will itachi do

Did people just miss out the key element of Shisui having MS as well?! It has always been said that he only had normal sharingan.
And this sets up something else as well. Danzo had Hashirama's chakra, so not only could he use the Izanagi (not perfectly, but still), but Shisui's eye more often too instead of waiting a decade (he only had to wait for how long? 12 hours?).

Best chapter in ages, can't wait to see what happens next. So Itachi is back to life for real now, only that he's half immortal (or does this cancel the resurrection ability of the Edo Tensei as well?), however his MS seemed to fade away. For just the moment or forever? I'm guessing that since he's been brought back to life now he will lose his sharingan or something because his real eyes belongs to Sasuke Now, meaning he will not be as powerful as he was (well Itachi was MS after all, wonder what he would be able to do without it if that's the case?).
So many questions!

Ya that kinda pissed me off that kishi revealed Shusui had MS all along. We never got any insight into Shusui having MS so it suddenly appearing seemed kinda hax right out of the gate. Itachi did say way back that Sasuke would be the third to awaken MS, not the 5th lol. I suppose he was only referring to MS who were alive though, since Izuna clearly was the 4th in total, despite not being included by Itachi at that time.......

Either way, I guess it was all in the realm of Kishi's story, but it still seemed hax that:

1. Shusui did in fact have MS
2. Shusui's MS looked almost identical to Itachi's but with an extra tomoe (and wtf? we've never seen a 4 tomoe MS! even Sasuke's 6 tomoe can be seen as 3 if you look at it like 3 big elipses)
3. the 10 year cooldown 'happened' to coincide between Itachi dieing and coming back to life as an edo
4. I guess Shisui dieing awakened Itachi's MS, but how id Shusui unlock his?
5. Having Senju DNA and access 'nature altering' chakra, I'm sure Naruto's cooldown will be far less than 10 years......maybe even short enough to be used against sasuke after a time skip.....

Sorry for the rant, I did think the chapter was amazing but it did seem very, very hacked.

AMAZING chapter i would have voted 6 if i could.

point of interest on page 13 were itachi says that "shisui's mangekyo requires at least another decade to activate", in the next frame he says "discounting senju hashirama's chakra unlikely as that is"

does that mean that if they can somehow get yamato back they maybe able to use the crow again sooner??

I always thought the great elder toad could refer to Madara or someone else. Itachi and Nagato have powerful eyes,too, right?

Welcome to the base, but obviously not. It was mentioned by Kabuto that people like Jiraya and Shusui could not be revived due to lack of substantial DNA. So there is no way the sixth coffin could be Shusui for that reason. And not to mention, Kabuto showed an increased interest in the battle once he learned the eye was Shusui's....thus he wants its DNA to revive him.

As for the discussion about Nagato using Human realm to suck out Naruto's soul, yes that is in fact whats happening but I think we will see a Kyuubi third arm pop out in panel one of next chapter, knocking Nagato out of range for completing his tech.

It was a great chapter. Itachi's secret is finally revealed.
I didn't expect shinra tensei to be able to repel amaterasu tough and it seems like Nagato has quite a few jutsu's up his sleeve we haven't seen before.

Nagato was absorbing Naruto's chakra, so I think naruto will go out of SO6P-mode and wil have to fight Nagato in sage-mode.
I think that Bee will stay to fight with Nagato and that Naruto and Itachi will move forward to the battlefield/Madara/Sasuke?

edit: and I believe Naruto will be able to use Shisui's eye again.(due to being an Uzumaki=Senju)

I hope so I love sage mode and then he can learn how to combine sage and the Kyubi mode and become ultimate naruto lol

nagato is not absorbing naruto's chakra ...HE IS USING HUMAN PATH which means he is taking out naruto's soul from his body... which means naruto is in deep shit right now.

How can u be sure and i doubt kabuto wants to kill naruto off and to then have deal with the full kyubi i beleive he is taking his chakra

one question: Itachi broke free from IWR...but does it mean that he is alive again, or he is just a free zombie who will die when the technique(IWR) will end? also:I wonder how much the genjutsu lasts...I think that after its effect will vanish, Itachi will be controlled again by Kabuto...if you look at his eyes, the sclera is still dark which means he's still a zombie, not a living human being. what do you think?

The way Itachi thought all this up, he's truly a master mind after all. So what is he going to do now, since he's free from Edo Tensei's control? Will he persuade his little brother?
I wonder about Nagato. Since he fully recovered from sucking Yin chakra from naruto, but wait? I see his grabbing the seal and pulling it out, I wonder how will that turn out.
I love how Itachi came back, he's my favorite character after all.
